Hi Everyone and Happy Tuesday! For the April issue of  Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine I made some cards featuring Moma's Designs beautiful flower images. This card is one of them. The stamp set is called  Summertime Blooms and available in the Whimsy store. The sentiment is also from the Summertime Blooms set and the DP I've used is from Magnolia. I kept the card pretty simple to show off the image. Just a few brads, some ribbon and a single flower. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto 'X-press it'  paper and colored the image using the following Copic markers R39-29-24-22-20-00, G46-43-40, N7-6-3, T2 and Prisma pencils non-photo-blue and dark brown. Happy Wednesday Friends! I'm going to make this post a quick one today. I'm still busy working on creations for the next Whimsy Inspirations Magazine and also on my next release for Dutch Paper Crafts . Happy Hump-Day Everyone! Mid-week already and I still have thousands of things to do this week. Wish my days had 36 hours instead of 24 at the moment. Also still need to put some new flowers in my pots around the house. The spring flowers are gone and it's time to plant some nice colorful summer flowers.  Otherwise it looks so sad with the empty pots ;). But nevertheless I want to take the time and share a creation with you today! One that I made a few weeks ago and that was published in the newest Whimsy Inspirations Magainze . The card I made shows one of the beautiful flower images from Whimsy's Moma's Collection, designed by Monika Martinson and it's called Spring Tulips : This time I colored the tulips using my Distress Inks (pads & refills, see all colors I used further down). Happy TGIF fellow crafters! Are you ready for the weekend? I can tell you I'm sooooo ready and can't wait to get my feet up and relax. But before I do that I like to show you another creation. It's a wedding card and I made it a while back. It was actually a custom order hence the color combination, image embellies etc. The lady who ordered the card (she approached me through my Etsy store) was very particular in what she wanted and then when I had everything ready she never got back to me nor did she pay for the card. I've never had any problems before with custom orders but unfortunately from now on I will only do custom orders that are paid for upfront - live and learn. I already un-customized some parts. The couples names were included in the front design of the card and on the inside was a personal computer generated sentiment added. Luckily I was able to remove all that and therefore the card is not a total loss. The image is a Whimsy stamp

Happy Sunday Everyone! For everyone in the US a Happy Memorial Day Weekend and I hope you all enjoy the long weekend :). Our weather down here this weekend is just beautiful with temps in the low 80's, sunny, humidity down and slightly breezy. Just perfect to sit outside in my favorite chair by the pool and reading my new Dan Brown :) The card I want to share with you today was supposed to be on my blog on Thursday already. But unfortunately due to an inflamed sciatic nerve I was not able to finish it in time for Whimsy's May Release Review Day Hop on Thursday.
