Farewell to ISB-Challenge!!!

Hello all and welcome to our last ISB-Challenge! We, the DT, are all very sad that this will be our last challenge but we understand the tough decision Ilona had to make! Thanks Ilona for a wonderful time as a DT member for ISB-Challenge!!!!!! Sending big hugs your way my friend!

Ok and our final challenge theme is: Everything but Christmas!

For my card I chose one of the new Whimsys stamps from the Kenny K Collection. She is called 'Movie Star'. I am still so excited to see these cuties being 'rubberized'! :-)

I colored her with Copics (sorry I forgot to take a pic of the markers I used). The sentiment is from Whimsy as well and available as digi HERE together with 7 other sentiments fitting the new Kenny K Collection. The DP is from SEI - "Poppy". Sketch is from Friday Sketchers.

We would love to see you joining our last challenge. Let's say good-bye to ISB  together! We are looking forward to your creations!

Whimsy DT meets ISB Challenge

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! ISB challenge is going green! We want to see some 'Recycling' on your card/project. That means you must use recycled stuff on your card or alter something like an already used envelope or box etc. and recycle it this way! Easy peasy itsn't it?

On my card I 'recycled' my ribbon, it came from a packaging as well as the snowflakes. They were cut out from an acetate sheet which was originally used as cover sheet in a box of chocolates ;-)

This cookie craving Santa is a Whimsy stamp and is called Santa's Midnight Snack. He is colored with Copics and was stamped onto X-Press It! blending cards using Memento Tuxedo Balck ink. The Sentiment and the Holiday Wish List are also available at Whimsy! I did some sewing with the machine and distressed around the edges using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.

As I mentioned before I cut out the Snowflakes from a sheet of acetate using my Cricut and the 'Joy's of the season' cartridge. Then I glittered them using Ice Stickles Silver Ice and Arctic Ice.Flowers and embellies are from my stash.

The inside is decorated as well.

These are the Copics I used to color the image:

ISB Challenge 36 - Animal Fun Time

Welcome dear crafting friends to a new ISB-Challenge with the fun theme 'Animal Fun Time'! We want to see animal images or an image containing an animal on your projects! This can also be a Halloween card! I hope you all like to play along and see you over at our ISB-Challenge blog!

For my card I used one of the new Belles 'n Whistles images from the recently released ChangeaBelles collection. This is really a fun collection and sooooo versatile. You can use these images in a scene together with other BnW cuties or alone as I did on my card here. I used the sweet puppy from the 'Puppy, Doll & Teddy' set.
I made a little thank you note card which was cut out using my Spellbinder dies. DP is from my stash. The flowers are cut out using Marianne design dies.

Here is a close up of the cut puppy and I colored him using Copics.

I hope you like my little note card. come and join us over at the ISB-Challenge blog for this fun challenge!

ISb Challenge 35 - Fall Colors

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to another ISB-Challenge! September is almost over and last Thursday was officially the start of Fall season. Whew! Where has the Summer gone! Time is just flying! And because of Fall is in the air we want to see 'Fall Colors' on your creations for our 35th ISB Challenge! So come on and bring out all the warm colors fall has to offer! We are looking forward to gaze at your creations!

I chose 'Tania baking' from Belles 'n Whistles for my card. I think she is just perfect for a fall themed card. I can picture her baking a yummy apple pie...hmmmm can you smell it already? LOL!  ;-)

The DP I've used is from an older Basic Grey paper pad called Archaic. Again I colored my image, which was stamped onto Cryogen White paper, using my Copics.

The flowers are from my stash and the flower center's I got from my dear friend Marina, together with a beautiful birthday surprise package! Again thanks so much sweetie, you really made my day :-)

The sentiment and ticket stamp is from Whimsy and the ticket die is from Tim Holtz. The ribbon slider is from Making Memories.

I also added some bling with rhinestones and rhinestone swirls from my stash.

The inside is decorated as well but kept very simple.

Thanks for visiting me today, I greatly appreciate all your comments. Hope to see you over at our ISB Challenge blog joining us in this fun fall challenge!

ISB Challenge #32 - Dots

Hi all and thanks for dropping in today! Sunday = Challenge time! Yay it's time for our 32nd ISB Challenge. And today it is getting dotty! Yes let's see some dots on your cards!

I chose to make a Halloween card using this super cute Belles 'n Whistles witch! I colored her with my Copics and kept the whole card pretty simple this time.

I followed the sketch at MMSC and this time I went for the clean and simple version of Priscilla's sketch. The DP I've used is Eerie from Basic Grey and the sentiment is from Alota.

So come and play with us this DOTTY challenge over at the ISB-Challenge blog. We love to see what you come up with! And while you are there don't forget to visit my fellow DT sisters blogs and their awesome dotty creations!!

ISB Challenge - Travel & Vacation

Hi all and a very happy Sunday! I hope everyone of you had a fabulous weekend so far! It's Sunday and that means it's challenge time again! A new ISB challenge is starting today with a very appropriate theme for this time of the year: TRAVEL & VACATION! What a wide-ranging theme! After digging into my stamps I came up with this cute little surfing Tilda; what brilliant match for the theme don't you think so too?

I colored Tilda using Copics and my Copic Airbrush System. For a list of Copics used scroll all the way down in this posting. The DP I've used is from Basic Grey called 'Max & Whiskers'. CS is DCWV and Bazzill.

On the waves I've used Glitter and Stickles 'Frosty Lace'. To give the air bubbles a dimensional look I added some 3D glaze. I colored the water using the Copic Airbrush System and airbrushed over Tilda's legs so it looks like her feet and legs are submerged in the water.

The sentiment stamp is from magnolia as well as the swirl die.

On the inside I used the 'Doo Hickey' swirls again and the sentiment is from SU!

And here is the card and the matching box.

I hope you like to join us in this fabulous summery challenge! For all the details on the challenge and to enter please visit our ISB Challenge Blog. And while you are there visit my fellow DT sisters blogs for some more fantastic inspiration!

ISB - Challenge # 30 - Clean & Simple

Welcome to our 30th ISB Challenge! This time we want to see your projects 'clean & simple'. I had an order for a gents card and I thought this theme would be perfect for it. So I chose the cute 'My Guy Ian' image from TGF and colored him using my Copis. The paper is from Basic Grey's collection Max & Whiskers and so perfect for a male card, don't you think so?

The sentiment is from Catslife Press and the corner punch is from SU! On the sentiment I added the 50.

I also decorated the inside and finally I had the chance on using my new Tim Holtz 'Ticket Strip Die'. The Whimsy 'Ticket Sentiments' are just perfect for the Tim Holtz ticket die.  I love 'em both! :-)

I hope you like my version of  'clean & simple' and I'm looking forward seeing you over at our ISB Challenge blog!  And don't forget to check out my fellow DT sisters blogs and their fantastic creations for this challenge!

Thanks for visiting me today and have a fab day!
