May I present Mr. & Mrs Teddy....

Happy TGIF fellow crafters! Are you ready for the weekend? I can tell you I'm sooooo ready and can't wait to get my feet up and relax. But before I do that I like to show you another creation. It's a wedding card and I made it a while back. It was actually a custom order hence the color combination, image embellies etc. The lady who ordered the card (she approached me through my Etsy store) was very particular in what she wanted and then when I had everything ready she never got back to me nor did she pay for the card. I've never had any problems before with custom orders but unfortunately from now on I will only do custom orders that are paid for upfront - live and learn.

I already un-customized some parts. The couples names were included in the front design of the card and on the inside was a personal computer generated sentiment added. Luckily I was able to remove all that and therefore the card is not a total loss.

The image is a Whimsy stamp designed by Sylvia Zet and called 'Mr. and Mrs. Teddy'. Of course it was colored with my Copics. The papers are a mix of Bo Bunny and Magnolia papers. Dies I used on the outside are from Whimsy: 'Country Heart' die and Memory Box: Catalina Wreath. Flowers  are from WOC and the pink crystal stem and heart ribbon slider are from Whimsy's embellishments section.

Sorry but I forgot to write down what marker colors I used :-/

The inside completely decorated.

Even the back was requested to be finished.

And of course a matching box makes everything complete.

Here's how the card looks inside the box.

This set will be available to buy in my Etsy shop soon.

Thanks for stopping by and have all a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

  1. This is so beautiful Iris, totally your customer's loss! Everything about this is fantastic, your attention to detail is just amazing - I'm so glad you were able to remove the customisation, this card will be snapped up in no time once you put it on Etsy I'd say :)
