Burst of Colors

Hello & Happy TGIF! I'll keep this short and sweet today 'cause I still have tons of things to do before I can start into the weekend. So I'll get right to my card. This is another commissioned card I made  a while ago and it is also a male card again. The image & sentiment is from Whiff of Joy and was colored with Copics. DP was from my scrap box so I'm not quite sure what brand it was but I think it's from Bo Bunny. The star was cut out using a Spellbinders die and the buttons are from my stash. I distressed around the edges with Walnut Stain. I decorated the inside as well. To mach the outside I also added a green button to the star but this one is made of felt so it is more flat and the card can be closed a little easier. The sentiment is from Whimsy designed by Raindrop Echo Designs and called Birthday Letter Seals . Hello everyone! It's Sunday and time for another fortnightly ISB Challenge . This time our theme is: Shape it! - Make a card other than square or rectangular. For all the details on the challenge and all the stunning creations of my DT sisters please see our challenge blog .For my card I used a quarter circle shape. Image is from WoJ (May store kit) and I colored that 1001 night beauty with my Copics. I used, flowers, ribbon, half-pearls, Stickles and Spellbinder dies (Fleur di Lis) for decorating. Sorry for the rather short posting but I'm updating my Etsy shop right now, meaning I'm also re-stocking ;-) Soon I'm up-to-date there and my cards will be available for purchase again. Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you all had a great week and are enjoying the weekend now! I sure do! This week was sooo busy, I had no time to craft whatsoever. But today I was finally able to get a couple of quiet hours in my craft room ... YAY! how nice was that! So I checked the challenges going on right now and I decided to enter Friday Sketchers Challenge #60 , they have a great sketch and I loved working with it! For my card I used one of the Elisabeth Bell images from the WOJ Summer Kit. Colored it with distress inks and also distressed the image background with distress inks as well as my papers. For distressing the background & papers I found a wonderful tutorial by Kim . You have to check that out, it's awesome! You did a great job on that Kim, thanks a lot for sharing!!! Happy Weekend! I am pretty short of time today but I wanted to show you this card. I used another of Elizabeth Bells super cute illustrations for my card. Hello everyone and Happy Thursday! I guess I have to hurry, my doggie Cleo is sitting right next to me and waiting anxiously for her walk. Due to the bad weather we are a little late today. My project today is a little gift bag. The template I used is from a friend from my German crafting forum, Uschi. Unfortunately Uschi doesn't have a blog. But she makes the most wonderful creations. The little gift bag measures 2 x 2 inch and is about 4.5 inch high. Hallo und einen wunderschoenen Tag! This is going to be a short posting today, sorry about that but pretty tired. The card I made is a typical male card, pretty plain with not too muchg embellies.I saw a card like this a few weeks ago and really liked the look of this suit card. So I just added a small sentiment on the outside and some buttons and put the image on the inside. For a change I colored with my distress inks today. Das ist ein kurzer Post heute da ich ziemlich muede bin. Das ist eine typische Maennerkarte heute ziemlich nuehctern mit wenig Verzierung. Ich mal so eine Karte gesehen vor ein paar Wochen und mochte den Look von der Anzugkarte. Ich habe aussen nur einen kleinen Text angebracht und die Knoepfe. Ds Motiv ist diesmal auf der Innenseite. Zur Abwechslung habe ich heute mal wieder mit meinen Distress Inks coloriert. Die Highlights auf dem Motiv habe ich mit einem weissen Gel Pen gesetzt.
