Howdy!

Happy Monday All! Today I want to share a card I made already in early Summer for the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine - CHA Issue. It features one of Whimsy's Kenny K images called Cheyenne. She is available in rubber HERE .

I've colored her with my Copics. Papers are from MME and the sentiment and the wanted poster in the back is from Whimsy's Giddy Up set. From the Shapeology dies I've used the Vines Die Set

Closer look on the hottie:
I've a skin coloring tutorial in this issue. Click HERE and it starts on page 61.

Other supplies used:
Mulberry paper flowers and leaves,
ribbon, button, burlap string,
pearl swirls and some rhinestones, glitter
chip board corner and a Spellbinders star die

Thanks for stopping by today and have a good one!

I {heart} Soccer!

Hello all and Happy Monday to you! Hope you all had a good start into the work week after a nice weekend. My weekend was great, we had my best friend here visiting us from Germany :-)  Both, she and her hubby, ran the Disney Marathon yesterday...and they did it ...of course! ;-) They finished with a great time and  brought home the fab Mickey medal! Yay! Congrats again to you guys!!!

The card I want to show you today is a commissioned card I made. The chosen colors are the colors of the birthday-'boys' (lol not at all a boy anymore ;-) ) favorite soccer club.

I colored this fab Kenny K digi image using my distress inks. I printed the image onto water color paper using my laser printer. This works pretty well if I choose the manual paper feeder and the setting for thick paper. The DP is from Glitz Design. The Ticket Sentiments are from Whimsy as well as the Ticket Die I used to cut them out.

I also decorated the inside. The circle sentiment is from Whimsy's Birthday Letter Seals

I enter this card into this weeks Stamp Something Challenge: Use a Digi

Thanks for stopping by today and visiting me here!

Farewell to ISB-Challenge!!!

Hello all and welcome to our last ISB-Challenge! We, the DT, are all very sad that this will be our last challenge but we understand the tough decision Ilona had to make! Thanks Ilona for a wonderful time as a DT member for ISB-Challenge!!!!!! Sending big hugs your way my friend!

Ok and our final challenge theme is: Everything but Christmas!

For my card I chose one of the new Whimsys stamps from the Kenny K Collection. She is called 'Movie Star'. I am still so excited to see these cuties being 'rubberized'! :-)

I colored her with Copics (sorry I forgot to take a pic of the markers I used). The sentiment is from Whimsy as well and available as digi HERE together with 7 other sentiments fitting the new Kenny K Collection. The DP is from SEI - "Poppy". Sketch is from Friday Sketchers.

We would love to see you joining our last challenge. Let's say good-bye to ISB  together! We are looking forward to your creations!

Sassy! - Kenny K 1st Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone! This will be a very short posting. We still got company here at our house but I wanted to get this card posted. I finished it already Monday and had no chance yet posting it. And as I made it to enter the 1st Kenny K challenge it's about time now to get it up here!  :-)

I used this super cute image 'Troublemaker' from Kenny K Designs for my card. I colored her using my Copics and as the challenge is 'Pastells' I used all softer colors for my card.

The DP is 'Gosamer' from Memory Box. The large Flower is handmade using EK Success punches and the sentiment stamp is from TGF. The other embellies I used include ribbon, paper roses and chandelier crystals from Michaels, Stickles, rhinestone brad and a MS border punch. Here are some more close ups:

And I also made a matching box again:

Thanks for visiting me today and have a fabulous summery weekend!

Rock Chick by Kenny K & ISB Challenge #29

Hello friends! Happy 4th of July to all of you in the US! I'm sorry of being late today with my ISB Challenge post. But now here it is - finally!
I found a new digi-stamp site a few days ago called Kenny K Downloads. They just started their site and are still in the progress of adding images. But there are already images availabe for purchase and I think Kenny's images are just fabulous and so much fun to color. I'm already fallen for them..LOL. I like the glam gang images best so far. Can't wait for the others to be available :-) There is also a new challenge blog called Kenny K's Krafty Girl Challenges. The DT has just been announced and the first challenge is starting on July 11th. Looking forward playing in the challenges.

For my ISB-Challenge card I used one of the glam gang images called 'Rock Chick'. Our theme for this fortnightly challenge is a color challenge. And there are 2 color choices for you to choose from.

PINK - ORANGE - WHITE
or
GREEN - YELLOW - WHITE

I chose pink, orange and white. I really like this combination and think it is just ideal for this image. To enter and for all details on our challenge please visit our ISB Challenge blog!

I decided to make an Easel-Card and the sketch I used it from the ongoing MMSC #60 challenge. I colored the image with my Copics and added some sparkle to it using Stickles and Atyou Spica glitter pens.

Again I managed to use up my scraps and therefore I don't know exactly the brand of the DP. I think it is Fascy Pants and My Minds Eye. The sentiment stamp is from TGF and the smaller concentric stars are cut out with a Cuttlebug die and the big star behind the image is cut out using my Cricut (Christmas Cheer Cartridge) and then embossed with a CB folder. I also used a MS punch and the flowers are Prima.

I hope you all are having a great Sunday and if you are here in the US a great Holiday Weekend!Come and join us for this fun challenge! You have two weeks to play!

Thanks for taking some time and dropping in today!
Love & hugs,
