Hello Imagination and a Beachy Scene

Image
Happy TGIF and Hello Imagination!  No creativity without imagination - these two belong together. Imagination gives my brain a booster to be creative in many ways and come up with all sorts of creative ideas. Did you know that passive activities like reading can be a trigger for more creativity and simple everyday tasks like walking and cooking usually calm our brain and can boost imagination.  To create this card I used the NEW Woolly Bear Kids - Imagination clear stamp set by Barbara Sproatmeyer, exclusively available from Whimsy Stamps. I combined it with the SL Gullivers Garden papers and the Hello Word and Shadow die set. To finish up my card I've added some glitter glue and Wheat Sparkle Gems from This Calls for Confetti. On my second card I used the NEW Seashells and Sunshine rubber stamp which I colored using Karin Brush Marker Pro. The sentiment is from the NEW Special Day clear stamp set. To embellish my card I've added some Stickles glitter glue 'Stardust...

Hi friends! It's all about Robots with one of the the stamp sets I am showcasing today. It is release day at Whimsy Stamps and I had so much fun creating with the new products. Please read below about the products I've combined on my card and what I used to color my images. I was trying out two new coloring mediums I recently acquired. I combined three newly released products on my card today. First is this adorable sitting robot from the NEW Robots clear stamp set by Dustin Pike. The balloons and matching die cuts are from the NEW Celebrate Balloons clear stamp set and NEW Celebrate Balloons Outline die set.  For the background I used the NEW Peekaboo Window 5 die and a sheet of the Comics 6x6 paper pack from an earlier release. The sentiment is included with the robots stamp set and I cut it out using the Simple Sentiment Strips die set. I also decided to turn one of the balloons into a shaker element and used the largest heart die from the Gothic die set. For the ...

You're Totally Llamazing

Image
Hello crafty friends! How llamazing is this? I have some new release inspiration from Whimsy Stamps using the Mini Slim Swiss Dots Die, A2 Antique Frame Die Set and Llamazing Llamas stamp set. You can shop all products I used here: https://bit.ly/3h5PHMi I was feeling 'green' so I went bright and bold with my colors. My card base is a lime green and to make the Swiss Dots die cut stand out I opted for black as contrasting color. The darker green shade behind the Llama gives a nice contrast too. I think this guy looks just adorable freshly sheared. I used Copics to color and a few black and lime green opalescence sequins finish off my card.  Whimsy Stamps products used to create my card: Dont forget to stop by our FB Group and share your Whimsy makes with us! Boho Beautiful - Whimsy Stamps August 1st Release

Image
Happy Release Day! Boho Beautiful is this  Whimsy  release called. It's a wonderful array of Bohemian artsy products. Here is my release inspiration which I call Boho Circle of Rainbows.   I used the Boho Circles as my center point and arranged the Boho Rainbows around it. I die cut all the elements from kraft, glitter and shimmer cardstock in pink, gold, brown and white.  My card base is a square kraft card which I sprinkled and spritzed with white and gold paint. On top of the smaller boho circle I've added some flowers from the 'Flower Tiles - Stay Wild' clear stamp set by Barbara Sproatmeyer. I colored them using Altenews watercolor brush markers.  To sparkle things up I've added shiny golden twigs from the Christmas Branches die set. I also added doodled dots using a shiny gold paint pen. Some 'Diamond Sparkle Gems' from  This Calls For Confetti  finish off my card. Whimsy products used: Please check out the Whimsy FB group to see all the...
