Discover the Beauty Within

Happy Sunday Everyone! For everyone in the US a Happy Memorial Day Weekend and I hope you all enjoy the long weekend :). Our weather down here this weekend is just beautiful with temps in the low 80's, sunny, humidity down and slightly breezy. Just perfect to sit outside in my favorite chair by the pool and reading my new Dan Brown :)

The card I want to share with you today was supposed to be on my blog on Thursday already. But unfortunately due to an inflamed sciatic nerve I was not able to finish it in time for Whimsy's May Release Review Day Hop on Thursday. Since I'm feeling much better now and had the time to finish it up yesterday I can post it today :)

The image I used is Bonnie from Whimsy's Elisabeth Bell collection.  I LOVE mermaids and there are four in this release alone :) I colored her with my Copics (Tail: B0000,B000,B21,B24,B26,B29, Shirt: YG18,YG13,YG11, Skin: E000,E00,E21,E11,R11,R20 Hair: E50,E53,E43,E57). The Mini Lace Doily Corner I used is from Whimsy as well and you can find it HERE. Papers are from 'Little Yellow Bicycle' and I think the collection is called 'Splash' (not 100% sure on that though). The flourish die I used is from Memory Box called Catalina Wreath. Flowers and embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts and from my stash.

I made an easel card and here is a closer look on the inside:

The postage stamp sentiment is from the newly released 'Nautical Postage Stamps' cut out with the matching Postage Stamp Die.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Luv 'n hugs,
