Happy Birthday Denise - Whimsy New May Release - Sloth Moments

The Whimsy DT is celebrating our wonderful boss and Whimsy Stamps Owner Denise Lynn's birthday today! Happy Birthday Day Denise and thank you for everything you do!  There is also a new release in the store that hit the shelves yesterday! The cute sloth image on my card is one of the newly released stamp sets and called 'NEW Sloth Moments'. I also used the 'NEW Sloth Moments No-Fuss-Masks' as well as other Whimsy products. Please scroll down for a full link list of all products used. The sloth image was stamped onto mixed media paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I then masked the image with the matching No-Fuss-Masks to create my background. I colored the cute sloth image with watercolors and pencils. The background was inked with distress oxide  inks (mermaid lagoon, mowed lawn and twisted citron). I added some texture by spritzing the inked background with water. Whimsy Stamps New Product Launch - NoFuss Masks

Hi Crafty Friends ! Whimsy Stamps is releasing a new product today - NOFUSS MASKS! How awesome is this?! Calling all the 'fussy-cutting-haters' 😄. This is going to be such a time saver, even if you don't mind fussy cutting, like I do. Now you can get all the cool looks that can be done with masking without the fuss!  They are available at the moment for 10 stamp sets but there is more to come! Each set contains 4 sheets  of repositionable stamp image masks.   Say goodbye to fussy cutting and hello to Whimsy Stamps NoFuss Masks.  Here I have some inspiration on how you can use these NEW NoFuss Masks: I used several images of the Halloween Night clear stamp set and created this scene using the NoFuss Masks. After stamping all my images I left the masks on and started ink blending the background.  I did heavy blending with Distress Oxide-Inks and I was not careful at all.
