Burst of Colors

Welcome to my last GDT posting for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps . Thank you so much for having me and it was a pleasure guest designing with these adorable stamps! For my last card today I used the second butterfly available on the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. My project with the other butterfly from this set can be seen HERE . Quick 'How To' : Card measures 4.5" x 5.5", cut from plain white 110lbs cardstock. I then cut another plain white layer 4.25" x 5.25". Adhere washi tape. Add flower and secure with pearl brad. Adhere layer with foam tape to card. Stamp butterfly with black ink onto white cardstock. Now stamp the butterfly again right on top of the just stamped balck image using embossing ink. This is easy as it is a clear stamp! Heat emboss with clear fine detail embossing powder. Cut out butterfly. Adhere to card using  foam tape. Stamp the little antennas right onto the card and embellish with 2 small pearls. St...

Hello Everyone , it's Thursday and time for another Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Guest Designer creation. Once again I used the beautiful and versatile Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. I stamped one dragonfly onto designer paper and embossed it with Frantage shabby white embossing powder and also added white Gesso around the edges. The second drangonfly was stamped onto cream colored cardstock using Pistachio Memento ink. I've added Gesso again to achieve a little vintage look. Both dragonflies were cut out using the matching Dragonfly Die.  Other dies used are from Memory Box, flowers are from WOC and the rolled rose is handmade using a Memory Box die. Sentiment is also from the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. Designer papers are from Pion Design and the lovely lace is from Live and Love Crafts. Happy Thursday! Today I want to show you another creation I made as a Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps GD. I made a CAS style card using the 'Chicks With Hat' image. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto XPress it card. I colored using Graph' It markers and Copics. The sentiment I've added on the side is also from Prickley Pear and you can get it here . For a little embellishment I doodled around the image, added some Ice Stickles to the flowers and added a grossgrain ribbon. here's a close-up on the image: and a view from a different angle: Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!

Hello Everyone! Here's my Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps GD creation for this week. I made a shabby chic style tag using a butterfly image and sentiment from the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. I don't do tags very often but once in a while I enjoy making them! The kraft tag measure 5.25 x 2.6 inches. DP is from Magnolia. I stamped the butterfly with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink onto hot press watercolor paper. I softly colored the image using Distress Markers. Flowers are from WOC and all other embellies from my stash. Bird cage die is from Whimsy Stamps.  Closer look on the butterfly and sentiment. Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! Today I have another Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps GD creation to share. I made a little note card using 'Flower Fairy' . The image was stamped with Versafine Onyx  Black ink onto Fabriano hot press, extra white watercolor paper. I colored it using Distress Ink markers. The sentiment is from the Dragonflies 2 set. I've decorated the card with some mulberry paper flowers, satin ribbon, paper doily, pearls, rhinestones and a pearl brad. The paper was from my scrap box, don't know the make anymore. Wonderful Thursday Everyone! Today I like to share my 3rd GD creation for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps with you. This cute Giraffe stamp is called 'Thoughtful Giraffe' and is available in red rubber. The sentiment is also availabe in red rubber and can be found HERE . I stamped the image using Memento Ink Rich Cocoa and colored it using Graph' It markers (see a list of markers used beneath the next photo), available to purchase HERE . Papers are from Basic Grey's collection 'Clippings'. Flowers are from WOC and pearl accents form Martha Stewart. Hello Everyone! I'm here today with my second posting for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps as a guest designer. This time I have an 'All White' card to share..well almost....the sentiment is stamped with black ink and I've added 3 tiny blue rhinestones...but see for your self: The gorgeous dragonfly is from the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set and cut out with the matching Dragonfly Die . I stamped with VersaMark ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed using clear super fine detailed embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Dragonflies 2 set as well.  Here's a close look on the dragonfly: And here you can see how nice the heat embossing looks. Other dies I've used are from Memory Bo. Hello All and a Happy New Year! I start off the new year with a 2 month guest designer position at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps . I am all excited about it and if you don't know their line of stamps yet make sure you check them out! They've got beautiful rubber and clear stamps with matching dies. Here is my first GDT card in CAS style The dragonfly stamp and the sentiment are from the Dragonflies 2 clear stamp set. The Card measures 7 1/2" x 3 1/2". The dragonflies were stamped with Memento inks Lulu Lavender, Sweet Plum and Elderberry onto white smooth cardstock. I then cut them out using Spellbinders square Nestabilities and layered them onto scalloped, dark lilac squares. the sentiment was stamped with Memento Elderberry ink onto the lavender cardstock.
