Burst of Colors

Happy Sunday Everyone! Over at our lovely-hAnglar-only challenge blog is a new challenge starting today! This fortnights theme is a color challenge: Blue - Brown - Cream For my challenge creation I made a corner bookmark with an Origami flower dangle. It is called a Kusudama flower. When browsing the web a few weeks ago I saw a bookmark with a flower like that attached and just loved the idea and wanted to try it. Unfortunately I don't know anymore where it was. This was actually my first try with Origami at all. So please be lenient with me as it is not perfect at all. But I had so much fun folding and assembling it. I'm pretty sure I like to try some more Origami folding in the future! I colored the image using Copics and airbrushed around it. The DP is a digital paper from Nitwitt Designs. Happy Monday All! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I have two cards to share. The first card is for our lovely-hAnglar-only challenge which started yesterday with the theme 'Card For A Girl" . My second card is for our Belles 'n Whistles Challenge: "Wing it"   starting today. LHO Challenge - Card For A Girl I decided to make a flap fold card and to hold the 'flap' down I used a small velcro sticker. The hAnglar flicka was colored with Copics. The DP I've used is from Nitwit Designs and was just perfect for a girl themed card! The branch & leave die is from Joy Craft (I got mine from Dutch Paper Crafts ) and the border punch is a MS punch. Sentiment is from Whimsy's Magical Mini Letter Seals ! All other embellies are from my stash. Hello Everyone and Happy Weekend! My card for today shows one of the Emerald Garden Faeries Stamps, an Australian company. But now Susana from SCACD carries them as well :-) I think they are super gorgeous! I love Fairies anyway... This time I made a different card style: a criss cross card. The image is colored with Copics and I added some sparkle and glitz to it using Stickles and Glitter Pens. DP is Basic Grey's 'Hello Luscious'. Flowers are from Whimsy , Prima, Zva Creative and Magnolia. Dies I used are from Cheery Lynn Designs (I got mine from Dutch Paper Crafts ) and Spellbinders. Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday! Today is the last day of the Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peeks and it is the DT's choice of what they want to show. I decided to show you one of the new Meljens images called "Sick Little Bear" (available tomorrow). The cute little guy was colored with Copics and Prisma pencils to deepen the shadows. The hot air balloon is one of the new dies from the Whimsy Shapeology Collection available tomorrow in the STORE . The sentiment is from the also new 'Good Life Tickets' also being released tomorrow. DP is from Basic Grey (Cupcake) and the flowers are Whimsy Buds . The other die I used is a Tim Holtz die. The chipboard heart was colored with distress ink Walnut Stain.
