Unfortunately it is not always a pleasure making cards. Due to a death in the family recently I had to make a sympathy card. It's always difficult for me to get creative inspiration on this theme. This is what I came up with.
I made the card base from kraft card stock and stamped the inside of the front sheet with Whimsy's background Music Notes stamp. So it shows when reverting the corner. I kept the card pretty simple. Just added a button tied with some scrapper's floss to the reverted corner, a ribbon with a cross charm and a small silver 'With Sympathy' sticker.
The inside is plain as well. I just stamped a little birdie (Hampton Art) and swirl (Whimsy Darling Daisies Stamp Set) in the corner.
Thanks for stopping by and please don't forget to enter my Whimsy Meljens Designs Wednesday Giveaway. Just enter your name below in the linky widget to be in the drawing!
