May I present Mr. & Mrs Teddy....

Image
Happy TGIF fellow crafters! Are you ready for the weekend? I can tell you I'm sooooo ready and can't wait to get my feet up and relax. But before I do that I like to show you another creation. It's a wedding card and I made it a while back. It was actually a custom order hence the color combination, image embellies etc. The lady who ordered the card (she approached me through my Etsy store) was very particular in what she wanted and then when I had everything ready she never got back to me nor did she pay for the card. I've never had any problems before with custom orders but unfortunately from now on I will only do custom orders that are paid for upfront - live and learn. I already un-customized some parts. The couples names were included in the front design of the card and on the inside was a personal computer generated sentiment added. Luckily I was able to remove all that and therefore the card is not a total loss. The image is a Whimsy stamp

Just perfect to sit outside in my favorite chair by the pool and reading my new Dan Brown :) The card I want to share with you today was supposed to be on my blog on Thursday already. But unfortunately due to an inflamed sciatic nerve I was not able to finish it in time for Whimsy's May Release Review Day Hop on Thursday. Since I'm feeling much better now and had the time to finish it up yesterday I can post it today :) The image I used is Bonnie from Whimsy's Elisabeth Bell collection.  I LOVE mermaids and there are four in this release alone :) I colored her with my Copics (Tail: B0000,B000,B21,B24,B26,B29, Shirt: YG18,YG13,YG11, Skin: E000,E00,E21,E11,R11,R20 Hair: E50,E53,E43,E57). Hello everyone! Wow it's been almost two weeks since my last posting. Sorry for being MIA but it's a very busy time for me at the moment here at home and I'm also working on my magazine projects for the new Whimsy Inspirational Magazine :) But I found a card I made last year and haven't shared with you yet. It was published in Whimsy's Inspirational Magazine issue 9 . It's a clean and simple one layer card. Happy Easter & LOTV GD Card

Image
Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter! Today I have my last LOTV GD card to show. In celebration of Easter I used one of the cute bunny images called 'The Lost Balloon'. I want to thank Anne and the rest of the LOTV team for having me. I had lots of fun and it was a pleasure working with these adorable images! Image was stamped onto X- press it card with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. DP is from Little Darlings and the flowers used are from WOC. Button, ribbon, bunny charm, brad and pearls are from my stash. The metal corner embellishment is from Hobby Lobby and the square paper doily I found on ebay. I also added some sparkle to the bunnies tails with Stickles Stardust. Copic colors used: E 30-31-33-35-37-39 R 24-22-21-20-01-00-000 C 00-1-3 YG 61-63-67 YG 95-99 Y 17-15-13-11-000-0000 BV 04-02-01-000-0000 This card has been sold, thank you Sonja!
