Whimsy Sneak Peeks - Start Today!

Hello everyone! Sorry for being absent for a week now but I had a very busy week. We have the house full of family visiting from Germany and I also had lots of errands to run. I had to chase after my parents luggage which got lost on the flight. How can the airline loose the luggage on a non-stop flight, huh? Well they did and unfortunately it did not turn up yet. They are still tracing.....and ton top of all they are not very helpful  and are unfriendly if you call themj and ask about it :-/  Which makes me really upset. They charge outrageous ticket fares, allowing only 1 checked bag per person for free on a transatlantic flight and if that gets lost (mind you, on a non-stop flight!!!)  they are not even very helpful.....aaaawwww! Ok I stop complaining now and onto my happy news for today :-) And we will have sneak peek days for ya, starting today!!!!! To see a list of the DT blogs joining in on the sneak peek on the selected days please visit our Whimsy Inspirational Blog HE

It's supposed to be nice and sunny here on the weekend so I hope I can sit on my porch and immerse in my novels The card I like to show you today is a wedding card I made to order. The requirements were a Magnolia card in a box, the colors cream, pink and gold as well as no flowers. And this is what I came up with: I colored Tilda and Edwin (from the wedding collection) with Distress Inks. They were stamped with Archival Ink Black Onyx onto 140lb/300g hot pressed watercolor paper. The papers I used are from Basic Grey, K & Company, ........ The butterfly is from Prima. The circle dies used are from Spellbinders. and the border die is from Magnolia. The heart is chipboard colored with distress crackle paint 'Picket Fence'. Sentiment is from SU! Ribbon, lace, gems and charms are from

The Pixie Cottage Wednesday Challenge - Love

Hello fellow crafters and welcome to another Pixie Cottage Challenge ! It's round three for me as GDT for the Pixie Cottage Challenge. This weeks theme is LOVE ! How perfect with Valentines Day just around the corner! When I saw this stamps I knew it would be perfect for Valentine, it's called Valentine Hannah by Sandra Hammer . I decided to make an Easel-Card this time. I colored Hannah using Copics. The DP is from Basic Grey. Sentiments are from Whimsy (Love Letter Seal) and Magnolia. Dies & Punches I used are from Spellbinders, Magnolia and MS, EK Success and Marianne Design. Flowers and all other embellies are from my stash.   And because it is always difficult to fit easel cards into envelopes I made a matching box for the card. When I had all that done I thought how nice it would be to have a matching smaller box for a little gift or some candy to go with the card. And this is the set:   To decorate the heart on the box I used the Music Note stamp fr
