Wedding Card in a Box
Happy TGIF everyone! Looking forward to a wonderful weekend? I know I am.... I'm expecting the delivery of my Kindle 3 today. So I know what I am going to do on the weekend...LOL. It's supposed to be nice and sunny here on the weekend so I hope I can sit on my porch and immerse in my novels
The card I like to show you today is a wedding card I made to order. The requirements were a Magnolia card in a box, the colors cream, pink and gold as well as no flowers. And this is what I came up with:
I colored Tilda and Edwin (from the wedding collection) with Distress Inks. They were stamped with Archival Ink Black Onyx onto 140lb/300g hot pressed watercolor paper. The papers I used are from Basic Grey, K & Company, ........ The butterfly is from Prima. The circle dies used are from Spellbinders. and the border die is from Magnolia. The heart is chipboard colored with distress crackle paint 'Picket Fence'. Sentiment is from SU! Ribbon, lace, gems and charms are from my stash.
I also used a Viva Decor gold pearl pen for Tilda's earring, little bit of 'Diamond' Stickles on the flowers and a 'Sakura Star Dust Glitter Pen' on parts of her dress. Shimmerz paint was used on the flowers and Tilda's hair band.
The inside is personalized and finished completely.
This is the box closed with the card inside. The box is also personalized. For the window I used a 'Shake it' pouch from Impression Obsession and a piece of transparency. I filled the pouch with little pearl heart charms, little beads and dew drops.
Ok one more shot of the card in the open box.
The card is now already on the way to it's destination overseas.
Thanks for taking the time and stopping by my blog today and have a fabulous weekend!
Hugs,
Gorgeous, Iris! Love the soft colors and your design is fabulous.
