Image
Hello all and Happy Saturday! Today's the first day of the Whimsy Sneak Peek Days for the Whimsy March Rubber Release on Wednesday the 16th. On the first day today the the Whimsy DT shows off designs from the wonderful artist Chrissy Armstrong. For a list of all participating blogs please visit the Whimsy Inspirational Blog !   For my sneak peek creation I used this adorable image called "Tippy By The Tail" by Chrissy. Available next Wednesday at the Whimsy store ! I colored with Copics and the DP I've used is from the new MME collection Hazel. The balloon dies are also from Whimsy's Shapeology collection and were a perfect fit for that image! The sentiment comes together with the stamp! Make sure to check my DT sisters blogs for their awesome creations and even more sneak peeks! And tomorrow I'll have another sneak peek creation to show :-) Have a wonderful Saturday all! Hugs,

Corner-Bookmark Tutorial

Image
Hello everyone , Happy Hump-Day to you all! Do you like to read? I love to read (not only on my e-reader, I still enjoy reading 'real' books!) and I also like to use bookmarks. I prefer bookmarks which are not sticking out of the books too much. One kind I really like is the corner-bookmark. I made a little tutorial showing how I make my version of these corner-bookmarks. You'll find my complete Bookmark Tutorial here on the Whimsy Inspirational Blog   I colored the cute Whimsy Frog   using Copics. DP I've used for that bookmark is from Nitwitt. The gems are from my stash.  This is how the bookmark looks when in use. I hope that you got a little inspiration from my tutorial and like to try one yourself soon! Hugs,

Magical Wishes

Hello all and a Happy Sunday! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend! My card for today shows one of the new Whimsy Birthday Postage Stamps . I really like this sentiment set. It is so versatile and can be used alone as the main image or as sentiment to go with another image. On my card I used one of the Birthday Postage Stamps as main image and cut it out with the Postage Stamp Die . DP is My Minds Eye and the border punch I used is from MS. Ribbon, charm and buttons are from my stash. The little fairy was colored with Copics and I also airbrushed around the image. Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for stopping by! Until next time... hugs,

Happy Thursday all! Hope you are all well and looking forward to a great weekend! Just one more day to go, hehe =). I hope to spent some time this weekend at the beach. Forecast says it's going to be nice. Looking forward to a nice long walk....I so enjoy walking on the beach. It clears my mind and is totally relaxing.   For my card today I used one of the new and aswesome Whimsy rubber stamp sets called D arling Daisies from Chrissies collection . This is a fantastic set and was just the perfect stamp for my One Layer Card . This is very unusual and virgin soil for me but I so wanted to try this. And what is also new for me is to color on kraft CS. I used Pencils (I use Prismas, Colorsoft and Polychromos) & OMS. I saw this technique on a few blogs lately including my DT sister Ann's blog. And I loved the way it looked. I had to give it a try. And this is what my card looks like: The sentiment is also from the Darling Daisies set and the ribbon from my stash. But I had...
