Lovely-hAnglar-Only Challenge #12 - Snowflakes/Snow

Image
Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! Wow time is flying and I am so terrible late this time with my DT card for the lovely-hAnglar-only challenge . A big thanks to my DT sisters who have been so patient with me! :-) But I had a lot of things going on here at home and was just not able to finish in time.  It was my turn this time to pick a theme and I decided to keep it easy and  also fitting for the time of the year ...well at least in most parts of the world, though not where I live - LOL. I want to see Snowflakes / Snow on your creations! You have time until November 27th, 6pm (MEZ) to enter. I hope I have a lot of blogs to visit and can have a peek at all these gorgeous creations! For more details on the challenge please visit our lovely-hAnglar-only challenge blog. As ususal I colored my hAnglar cutie with my Copics (and I did not forget to make a pic of the markers I used this time, woohoo, the pic will be at the end of this posting). The DP is from Basic Grey's Christmas

Happy Holidays

Image
Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well! I just can't resist those super cute Belles 'n Whistles Snowbabies at the moment. I'm totally in love with them..LOL  So I thought I make another Christmas card to show some more Christmas inspiration. This is actually a pretty simple layout of the card but I kind of liked it. Also those papers were perfect for it. (sorry don't know the brand anymore) Luckily I found some scraps in my scrap box that matched the colors of my image. Because this time I did something very unusual for me...I colored the image without having my DP chosen. ARGH!. That is not me at all. I always pick my DP first and then start coloring. I hate searching through piles of paper and can't find the right ones. I'm pretty picky with that anyways....lol. How are you doing it?  I also used a Whimsy Sentiment from the Ticket Holiday Sentiment Collection and cut it out with the newly released Ticket Die from the new Whimsy Shapeology Di

Belles 'n Whistles Challenge - Cozy Winter Nights

Image
Welcome! It's Monday and time for another fortnightly Belles 'n Whistles challenge ! Our wonderful Kathrin , who's hosting the challenge this time, came up with a great theme: Cozy Winter Nigthts . She wants us to use 'cozy stuff' like felt, velvet, flower soft, fun flock etc. Whatever you have handy to create a 'cozy' effect on your project.   The stamp I used for my card is called 'Snowbaby Peek-a-Boo' and available HERE To create the cozy effect I used some polar white Flower Soft to create the snow. The image was colored with Copics and the DP is from Basic Grey and Heidi Grace Designs. The poinsettia was created with a Bosskut die and a Marianne Creatables die.   A close up of the image with the 'cozy' snow. I hope you will all join in on that fun challenge and looking forward seeing all your cozy creations! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're all having a great start into the new week! Hugs,

ISB Challenge #38 - Pearls & Rhinestones

Image
Happy Sunday and welcome to a new ISB-Challenge . Pearls & Rhinestones is the theme and we hope to see you all at the ISB- challenge blog to join in on this fun challenge! While there please check the other DT's awesome creations as well.   I think Tilda with Violin is one of the cutest stamps in this Christmas release and definitely one of my favorites! She is colored with Copics and I distressed around the edges with Distress Ink Antique Linen and Walnut Stain. The sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash and the DP is BG Wassail and Provocraft. The holly branch is cut out with my Cricut and the 'Joy of the Season' cartridge. I cut it out twice. Once regular and once with the shadow function. I distressed around the edges using Walnut Stain and added some red pearls for the berries. To have some rhinestones on my card I added a rhinestone swirl. Tildas dress was colored using E40, 41,42,43. The Hair is E25, E31 and E50. Violin and Shoes are E31, E33, E35 &

Merry Christmas

Image
Hi all and Happy TGIF! This is one of the Magnolia Christmas images I have sitting here on my desk for a while and I was dying to ink them up. Finally I found the time to color it in and make a card with it yesterday. I think this also a very versatile image and not only suitable for Christmas. Makes a super cute Valentine image as well! I used Copics for coloring and my DP is from Basic Grey's Wassail Collection. Sentiment is Magnolia as well as is the swirl die I used. Other punches and dies used are Spellbinder, Marianne Creatables, MS and EK Sucess. The cherry blossom flowers I used are from Whimsy Stamps . All other embellies are from my stash.  Here's a close-up of that cute angel Tilda with her heart ornament. Thanks for taking the time and stopping by my blog today! Hugs,

BnW DT - Snowy Little Christmas

Image
Happy Tuesday all! My card today show's one of the new Snowbaby stamps from Belles 'n Whistles right now available in the store! This one is called 'Snowbaby Catch-A-Flake'. Isn't she just too cute? That so reminds me of my childhood! As usual I colored her with my Copics (some accents I added with Prisma Pencils). The sentiment is one of 5 digital seasonal Sentiments I've created and they are available with any purchase at the Belles 'n Whistles store for FREE! DP is Basic Grey 'Jovial'. Snowflakes and stars are Cuttlebug dies. Border punch is from Fiskars. Roses from my stash. I also added lots and lots of Stickles to the flakes and stars to give them a frosty glimmer. To create the snowy effect around her feet I used Flowersoft. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
