Hello friends and thanks for visiting me here today! It's Monday and time for a new fortnightly challenge at our Roses on Paper & Belles 'n Whistles combined challenge blog! The extraordinary talented Jodi is our hostess this time and she wants to see a Birthday Card & Layers ! I LOVE layers and this is definitely my comfort zone, thanks Jodi :-) For all the details and what great prize Summer has to offer this time visit our challenge blog HERE . The challege will be posted during the course of the day! Ok I have to admit my card has lots of layers but is not necessarily a birthday card.... LOL. But thanks Jodi for accepting it anyway ;-) I decided to make an Easel-Card and I used 'Traveler Anya' from the Greeting Farm and the 'Eiffel Tower' stamp from an older Magnolia collection and colored the images using my Copics and my Copic airbrush system. A list of Copic colors used is at the end of this posting. The DP I've used is from Basic Grey

Scooter Fun! & Sketch Saturday #95

Image
Hello & Happy Tuesday Friends! I think 'Little Dianne' looks like she is having lots of fun riding her scooter, what do you think? I colored this Victoria Case image from Susana's shop using my Copics. I also used this weeks sketch from Sketch Saturday to create my card.  I also tried a new Copic technique...well new to me because I haven't tried it before. I used the Copic feather technique on the little girls shirt and parts of the scooter (vertical part of the handlebar). I blended together the colors orange and pink and violet and lime green using this technique. I have to say I love this technique and blending together opposite colors. That is so much fun and you can achieve amazing effects. I guess you'll see more of this technique very soon here on my blog...lol. The papers I've used are from Basic Grey's Green at Heart collection. Sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe and the die used under the Sentiment is from Nellie Snellen. I also used butt
