A Shadow Box Card!

Image
Hello Everyone and Happy TGIF!!! Do you know this cute stamp "Scarecrow and Little Wizard" from the Belles 'n Whistles Fall release? It is a very veratile stamp and not only to be used for Halloween! It could easily be used as a Thanksgiving or fall stamp. To show to you how easy it is I made this shadow box card where I only stamped the Scarecrow and there you have a fabulous fall image you can use. Have you ever made a shadow box card? I always wanted to make one but somehow never did. When I was thinking how I could present the Scarecrow image to you I came across the shadow box idea again and knew now I would finally make one! And tataaaaa there it is. :-) It is very easy to make and still something different. And the good thing about it is that it folds flat for shipping and taken out of the envelope you can just pop it up again! Maybe you ask where to put my message? There would be plenty of room on the back of the card! Have you already created a card or pro

Birthday Hearts!

Image
Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! Well sometimes things just don't work out as planned...lol. I already wanted to show you this card on Saturday but never got the time to do so. And yesterday I had to show my project for the new ISB-Challenge which started a day late. With a house full of guests it is not always easy to find the time to do my routine stuff ;-) But I love to have my parents here for almost 3 month., yay!!! So we can celebrate my Mom's birthday (coming up in November) and Thanksgiving together :-))) For my card I used Tilda blowing hearts and colored her with my Copics. The hearts on the outside are made to open up and I put the birthday sentiment (it's from Bildmalarna) on the inside of the hearts. For decorating the card I used prima flowers, martha stewart punches frond and one of the new border punches as well as retro flower punches from EK Successt, Stickles, half-pearls and ribbon. The pins are from making memories. The DP is from my stash (have to

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! Do you like to read? I LOVE to read. I always have at least two books and several magazines on my nightstand. And I'm also always in need of bookmarks. That is why my project I have to show today is not a card but a bookmark I made using the stamp "Warm Apple Pie" from Belles 'n Whistles . I colored her using my Distress Inks and set some highlights with Stickles. I distressed around the image using Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo. The swirls added to the background are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and are from Inkadinkado. The DP is from Basic Greys new Indian Summer paper pad which I also distressed using Vintage Photo. This is one of my favorite paper pads from Basic Grey right now. The half pearls I've added on the image and to the ribbon are from Basic Greys Opaline Collection.
