Burst of Colors

Das war eine Geburtstagskarte fuer einen lieben Freund! I made this folded card for a special friends birthday!

Ein schnelles Geburtstagskaertchen wurde gebraucht.... I needed a quick card for a birthday...

Dies eines meiner Lieblingsmotive, der Stempel ist von Stamps Happen, Inc. Das Motiv habe ich gestempelt und danach mit Aquarellfarben coloriert. Der HG ist mit dem Cuttlebug embossed und die Muschelmotiv-Stanzen auch mit dem Cuttlebug gestanzt, danach mit Foam-Dots aufgeklebt um einen 3D Effekt zu erzielen und mit Glitter verziert. This stamp is one of my favorite! Stamp is made by Stamps Happen, Inc. I stamped with Ancient Page Ink and water colored the image using Faber Castell Water Color Pencils 'Art & Graphic' Albrecht Duerer. I also used the Cuttlebug for dry-embossing and die cutting. Some objects are popped up with 3D foam pads. Stickles Glitter Glue is used for glittering.

Habe mir einen lange Traum erfuellt vor ein paar Wochen und mir die Cricut Expression von Provocraft gekauft (elektronische Die Cut Maschine). Die Die-cuts auf der Karte wurden mit der Cricut geschnitten, ebenso die Buchstaben. Innen habe ich eine Eckstanze verwendet. A dream came true! Finally I got the Cricut Expression Die Cut Machine from Provocraft. :-) This was the first card I made experimenting with the Cricut. I cut all the die cuts and the letters. On the inside I also used a corner adorer punch from EK Success.

I started making cards in 2007 and have been hooked ever since :-) I've always been a creative person. My creative history ranges from gold- and silver-smithing, folk art painting, silk painting, polymer clay crafting, creating flower arrangements and wreaths (from silk, dried and fresh flowers), candle making, making Venetian masks (cast in plaster) and decorating them, to decorative gift wrapping. Needleworks (cross stitching, crocheting and knitting socks), cooking and baking are among my hobbies as well. And in August 2008 I decided to create my own blog to share my creations.
