Peachy Keen GD Week, Day 4 - Swim Time
Hello all and welcome to Day 4 of my Peachy Keen GD week! Ok going from Christmas right back to Summer where we belong :-) My project today shows Lulee's Swim Time (PK-780 Lulee's Swim Time) on a fancy fold card.
Again I colored Lulee with my Copics and on her fins I used the feather blending technique. I also received a few emails asking what paper and ink I use. When coloring with Copics I always use Memento dye ink pads for stamping the image. And as far as it comes to the paper for coloring with Copics: Curious Metallic Cryogen White is my all time favorite. Papers are from Scrapbook.com 'Softly Summer 2' collection. Flowers are from my stash and punches and dies used are from MS, Spellbinders and Marianne Design. I also like to use spacers with the brads when using them as flower centers. Makes them more pop.
Close-up on the image:
As I mentioned above this is a fancy fold card. I used a little velcro dot to hold it shut.
The inside is barely decorated to keep the card flat and it closes more easily.
Designer Paper: Scrapbook.com - Digi Papers Softly Summer 2
Coloring: Copics & Prisma pencils
Flowers: Prima
Dies and Punches: Spellbinders, Martha Stewart, Marianne Design (Dutch Paper Crafts)
Embellishments: Button, pearls, brads, Stickles, glitter, ribbon slider

Did I tell you HOW much I LOVE the way you colored this girl. So I'm curious since I have both Copics and Prismacolor pencils. Do you blend with pencils with the Copics? Do you have to do anything special to clean them up. I would LOVE to try this. If you get a chance can you send me an e-mail at me(at)glorajean(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Hugs- Glora
