Hi Everyone & Happy Sunday! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and nice Summer weather at your place. Well two weeks went by and it is time for another 'lovely-hAnglar-only' challenge. To see who are out TOP 3 from the 'Glitter' challenge and all challenge rules please visit our blog HERE.
For our 5th challenge the lovely and super talented Nicolchen is our host and she wants to see 'Lace' on your projects! Hmmmm what a great challenge theme I LOVE lace! The sketch I used is from this weeks challenge over at MMSC.
I colored this hAnglar cutie using my Distress Ink Pads. The image is stamped on 140 lbs/300g hot pressed watercolor paper with Archival Ink. For the lace I used a fabric lace border and a paper doilie heart. Dp is from my stash and all papers are distressed with Walnut Stain and Antique Linen.
To accent I used Stickles Star Dust and Arctic Ice as well as a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.
The roses and cherry blossoms are from Whimsy stamps and I used punches (Punch Bunch & EK Success) and dies (Bosskut) to cut out the leaves, flowers & butterflies.
The tickest were cut out using the Tim Holtz ticket strip die and the ticket sentiments are from Whimsy stamps. The fit perfectly on the Tim Holtz tickets!
The heart border on the inside is made with a Martha Stewart deep edge border punch.
Please stop by at our challenge blog and check out the other stunning creations my DT sisters and GDT made for this fab challenge and don't forget to visit their blogs and leave them some love!
Thanks for stopping by today and taking the time reading my posting :-) Oh and before I forget I was asked quite a few times now in emails and comments if I have a tutorial on how to make my card boxes. So I prepared one (already planned on posting it this week but somehow it didn't work out, sorry!) and will post it here on my blog Tuesday. As on Monday I have a posting going up for our new Belles n Whistles challenge and you don't want to miss this either!!! ;-)
Luv & hugs,
