Made of Stardust

Happy Release Day! It's the last release of the year at Whimsy Stamps and I have an A2 sized card to share created using the Infinite Wishes stamp set. To create the frame I used the A2 Antique Frames die set. I cut out the frame from pink cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder using sparkling Versamark ink to add some glitz. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. The sentiment and stars are included with the set. Hugs,

Fröhlichen Nikolaus Tag! Happy Saint Nicholas Day! Did you get your shoe filled? In Germany it is tradition for the kids to get their boots filled with treats on the night of December 6th. Is there such a tradition here in the US as well? It was never celebrated here where we live. Let me know if  it is tradition to celebrate Saint Nicholas of Myra on December 6th (or in some areas December 5th) where you live. Today I have a quick and easy card to share. Another green one!  I started out with a bright green, A2 sized card base. Then I used the three largest dies from the A2 Antique Frame die set and cut out each frame from different cardstock (green metallic shimmer, gold shimmer and bright green) and stacked them on top of each other. I cut out the Believe Word & Shadow die from gold (word) and black (shadow) cardstock. To give a nice contrast I wrapped a red ribbon around the stacked frames and adhered the word with foam dots on top of the stacked frames. A littl...

You're Totally Llamazing

Image
Hello crafty friends! How llamazing is this? I have some new release inspiration from Whimsy Stamps using the Mini Slim Swiss Dots Die, A2 Antique Frame Die Set and Llamazing Llamas stamp set. You can shop all products I used here: https://bit.ly/3h5PHMi I was feeling 'green' so I went bright and bold with my colors. My card base is a lime green and to make the Swiss Dots die cut stand out I opted for black as contrasting color. The darker green shade behind the Llama gives a nice contrast too. I think this guy looks just adorable freshly sheared. I used Copics to color and a few black and lime green opalescence sequins finish off my card.  Whimsy Stamps products used to create my card: Dont forget to stop by our FB Group and share your Whimsy makes with us! I Moose You

Image
Happy Monday! Isn't this little guy just adorable? Here is another card using the cute 'Moose You' clear stamp set released this month by Whimsy Stamps. I colored him using my Copics. I also used a triangle piece of a toner card front from the Slimline Celebrations 2 pack and foiled it with rainbow foil. This time I left the background white on the toner card front to have a nice contrast to the rainbow foil and also to make it more pop on my turquoise card base. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used one of the Simple Sentiment Strip dies to cut it out. Please find a link list below of all the Whimsy products I've used on my card. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

Merry and Love Peace & Joy

Hello! Today I want to show you two quick cards I made using only dies, toner card fronts and designer paper from Whimsy Stamps.  On this I used the new A2 Toner Card Fronts Festive Holidays. I first colored in the holly and then foiled using gold foil. I then cut out the word Merry with the Merry word die. I also cut it out several times from red cardstock and layered it underneath the cut out toner card to give a shadow effect.  This card here is even more simple. A panel of the new Blissful Blues paper and the Peace Love Joy die set cut out from gold foil cardstock.  Thanks for visiting! Hugs,

Happy Birthday Princess!

Hi and Welcome to the new Whimsy Staps release! Featured on my card today is one of the new  images of the Moose You set which I combined with the also NEW Slimline Toner Card Fronts Celebrations 2. Before foiling with silver foil I sponged the background using Distress Oxide inks in dark blue, purple and yellow. I then die cut the background using the Slimline Birthday Scallops die set. The sentiment that is included with the Moose You set was stamped onto Hammermill paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut it out using the banner die that from the Slimline Fancy Frame die set. The image was stamped onto Hammermill paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I used my Copics to color it. It was cut out using my Brother Scan n' Cut. Whimsy Stamps products used: Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

Ho Ho Ho From Our Home To Yours

Happy Saturday! Are your holiday preparations in full swing already? Due to the hurricane earlier this month I am a little behind but managed to finish decorating my house (inside) this week. I know it's not even Thanksgiving but I like to hold on to my German traditions in this regard. I don't mind celebrating Thanksgiving with a Christmas flair. In Germany we were always starting Christmas season on St. Martin's Day which is November 11th and I still hold on to that. Not the tree though. In Germany usually the Eve morning and gets taken down after January 6th. I do mine usually on Thanksgiving or Black Friday (in Germany I did it around 2. Advent).  Ok so much about our Christmas traditions now onto my card for today. I have another card today where I am showcasing the NEW Festive Holidays A2 Toner Card Fronts together with the Snowball Family set. Before applying sparkling gold foil to my toner card front I added some color to the background using my Distr...
