Burst of Colors

Here are two cards using the absolutely gorgeous NEW Floral Impressions paper pack from the most recent release.  I kept both cards simple to really let these beautiful papers take the spotlight. On the first card I only added a die cut frame and diet cut word instead of a sentiment. A few clear dew drops finish off this card. (all products I used are linked below). The second card is even more CAS as the the first and I just added the large word die Happy and a simple stamped 'birthday' together with a few clear confetti sequins.  Whimsy Stamps products used: Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Whimsy Fans - it's release day including a new product reveal. Whimsy Stamps expanded it's already versatile line of products - Slimline Embossing Folders - WooHoo!!  I am showcasing both of the brand new slimline embossing folders on my creations today. All Whimsy products I used are linked below. Here is my first card using the following new products: NEW Mushroom Mushup, NEW Gnome Friends, NEW Slimline Thatched Embossing Folders. I also used Slimline Wonky Windows 1 die as my card frame and some of the butterflies from the Flight of the Butterflies clear stamp set. I colored the images with Derwent Inktense Blocks & Derwent Coloursoft Pencils.  To create the background I used the NEW Slimline Thatched Embossing Folder with green cardstock and ran a gold pigment ink pad over it so only the raised part gets inked.  On my second card I used the NEW Slimline Wave Length embossing folder together with the NEW Slimline ZIG ZAG Edger dies. Hello there Sunshine!  It's the 1st of April and that means it is Whimsy Stamps release time again! Whoop whoop! I can tell you this mini release is fantabulous with amazing products. You can browse them all in the store here . For my release project today I made a slimline shaker card featuring the NEW Sending Sunshine stamp set & Slimline Buttercup papers together with previously released dies - all listed and linked below. Oh I just love these adorable bunnies! I colored the image using Chromaflow pencils. These are new from Derwent and are wax based pencils but are harder than Prismas. The pigment is rich and they layer and blend smooth and beautifully. I used Bristol paper and stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink. Did you know that Whimsy has also quite a selection of Sparkletz and Sprinkletz as well as sequins in the store that are perfect as shaker fillings!  I also made a matching envelope to go with my slimline shaker card using the NEW Slimline Envel

Hello Friends! I'm here today with my last card for this month. I was inspired to do a mixed media project using the beautiful flower rubber stamp  Zen Garden f rom Deb's stamp line at Whimsy . Hello Crafty Friends! There is an Instagram collaboration hop going on - Whimsy Stamps and Cardstock Warehouse are teaming up for a week of inspiration and prizes! Just hop on over to my Insta accound @iriswiechmann and there you will find all the info, links and  how to participate!  I've created two projects using the awesome cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse combined with some of my new favorite Whimsy stamps and dies. On my first card I used  @whimsystamps  Magnolia A2 die together with the Celebrate Word and Shadow die. The cardstock from  @cardstockwarehouse  I used is from the pop-tone collection: sour apple, from the earth tone collection: chocolate and the White Diamond print inkjet glitter cardstock as well as silver mirricard mirror cardstock. Here you can see the sparkle and shimmer of the  White Diamond print inkjet glitter cardstock and the silver mirricard mirror cardstock.
