Hello Crafty Friends!  I am here today to share another card made with the new  Always and Forever   clear stamp set by Deb Davis for Whimsy Stamps .   Together with the NEW  Always and Forever  stamp set I used the following new and previously released products - NEW Baby Bear 6x6 papers, NEW  Slimline Hearts Background  die, Twinkle Scribble die.  I like the starry paper as background and think it goes perfect with the image and design I had in mind. The  Twinkle Scribble  die  is complementing the BG star design and makes the perfect frame for my image.  I colored the image with Faber Castell Albrecht Durer pencils. Cut out heart shapes from the  Slimline Hearts Background   were used as embellishments . The sentiment is included with the clear stamp set. Whimsy Products: Thanks for visiting me here today. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe! Hugs,

Whimsy Release - Happy Anniversary

Image
This anniversary card was made using a super cute clear stamp set from today's release at Whimsy Stamps together with an also new Connected Hearts Frame die. The stamp set is called Always and Forever and I die cut the hearts frame twice from white and dark red cardstock. I colored the image with Derwent Graphitint watercolors. I love the muted graphit colors and the grainy effect they have. The background was created with the previously released Farmhouse Basket Stencil and a white Paper Glaze paste. The sentiment is included with the stamp set and was die cut with one of the tags of from the Bookmark and Tags die set. List of Whimsy products:         Have a wonderful rest of the week! Hugs,

Especially For You!

Hey Whimsy Fans - Especially for you! Last time I colored Dudley the dragon from the new release and this time I have a super cute Gnome to share. He's been release on January 1st and is from Whimsy's Crissy Armstrong collection. This set is called Gnome One Like You I had fun coloring this guy with my Copics - list of colors used further down below. But have to admit that while I was coloring I was in shock how dirty and neglected my Copics really are *shameonme*. My friend and fellow teamie Faye would say I am a bad Copic Mommy ;-) So I guess on the weekend there is a big Copic cleaning and refill session coming up...*sigh* The patterned paper I used is from the also NEW Heart to Heart 6x6 paper pack . The sentiment is from the Dudleys Mailed with Love set and the tiny hearts I've added are cut out leftovers from the  Slimline Hearts Background . The edge of the patterned paper was cut using one of the NEW Slimline Envelope Edger dies. Copic colors used: BG0...

Slimline Hearts Happy Birthday

Image
Happy Saturday! I am here today to share another slimline card where I use products from Whimsy's January release combined with older ones. I used left over various blue and green paper scraps and cut them into strips to create the background. Then die cut the NEW Slimline Hearts Background from white 100lb Hammermill cardstock and adhered it on top of  the striped background I've created. The slimline top fold card base is made from heavy 110lb dark blue cardstock.  To create the vellum tag on top of the heart background three different Whimsy products where used - Bold ABC die set , S limline Vertical Sentiments clear stamps and Bookmark & Tag die set . I cut the bookmark from vellum paper that is thin enough so that the background can be seen easily. Then I die cut the word Happy from seagreen glitter paper using the Bold ABC die set and stamped the vertical slimline word birthday using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. A piece of white ribbon finishes off my card....

Love You Yeti Much

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Sunday! Here is another card I made with products from the new Whimsy January release. There is this awesome NEW slimline designer paper pack 'Frozen ' which I immediately fell in love with. I combined it with the NEW Yeti For Love stamp set from the Crissy Armstrong collection and the Slimline Scenic Countryside and Slimline Waves dies .  I colored the Yeti with my Karin markers and FC Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils. The background was created using one of the Slimline Frozen designer papers and the  Slimline Scenic Countryside and Slimline Waves die . These slimline background papers make for quick cards. Just add your image a few details with die cuts and embellies and your card is dome. Perfect if you want to create handmade cards but do not have enough time to create your own background or if you are a beginner cardmaker and still learning all the different BG techniques.  Whimsy products used:     Thanks for stoppi...
