Spread Love

Image
Hi everyone! Finally I'm back with a more regular posting schedule on my blog again. And for a fresh start I want to show you a card I made that was published in UK's Creative Stamping Magazine issue #8 that was released in January. I used one of Whimsy's stamps released in December 'Spread Love' by Crissy Armstrong. I colored this cute love spreading fairy using my Copics. Papers are from Bo Bunny's 'Love Letters' collection. Sentiments are from Whimsy's Key to My Heart & Welcome Baby sentiment set. Dies used are from Whimsy ( Lock & Key die , Eiffel Tower die , Country Heart die, Double Scallop Tag die ) and Spellbinders. Flowers are from WOC and all other embellies from my stash. Here's a close-up on the image: I've decorated the inside to match the outside for a more finished look. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope I could inspire you a little bit with my creation! Hugs, ...

White on White

Image
Hello Everyone! Just a quick posting here today to show you one of my cards I made for the Whimsy Inspirations Magazine that was published in October. It's a 'White on White' card with a die cut poinsettia as focal point instead of an image. Different from my usual cards but I like to do something different in between. I used the following dies from Whimsy's Shapeology Collection : Holly and Berries die, Vines die set, Star Spangled Tag die, Double Scallop Border die, Notables 5 die. And also a BossKut Poinsettia die. The background was embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Sentiment is from the Whimsy ' Christmas Sayings '. Here are some more pictures: And don't forget tomorrow is RELEASE DAY!!!! Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great start into the new year! I'm quite busy at the moment with some renovating/re-organizing projects in and around our house and family visits. So my postings here will be more sporadic until early/mid February. For today I have a card to show I made with a Saturated Canary image called Nikki. As always the little skating girl was colored with Copics. This card was made to order. DP is from Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain collection. My flowers are as usual from WOC and Whimsy . The metal embellishments I used were a gift from my dear friend Claudi . Thanks hun I just LOVE them all! The swirl and flat flowers were cut out using a Magnolia die. I cut them out from velvet paper which my dear friend Pat sent to me. Awww this is sooo precious, thanks bunches Pat for introducing me to that paper and being so generous! I just love that velvety soft feel and the looks of it. It cuts out so nicely and gives a special touch to each p...
