Image
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday fellow crafters! Our 10th 'lovely hAnglar only challenge' is starting today with a theme picked by our incredible talented Ilona :  'Easel-card - everything but square' We want you to make an easel-card using a different shape than usual! Be creative and then come and play with us at our LHO-Challenge Blog and show us your shaped easel-card! While there, also make sure to check out the fantastic work of my fellow DT-sisters!!! I decided to make an octagon shaped card this time. I thought this would fit my sitting hAnglar girl best.  I stamped my image into 'x-press it'  blending cards using Memento Tuxedo black ink. She was colored with Copics. The dies I've used are all from Spellbinders and the sentiment was a freebie I got with my last order from Catslife Press. DP is from Cosmo Cricket 'Mitten Weather'. To add some bling to the girl and the embellies I used Stickles Star Dust. The paper edges were distressed...

Here I am back with my second post for today and my first DT card for Whimsy Stamps ! For my card I used this super cute Santa stamp called 'Jolly Puppy Kisses' designed by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. I already got it last year but haven't had a chance on inking it up until now *shame on me* Isn't this just super cute? I looooove dogs and just had to have it ;-)   I stamped on X-press it blending cards with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and did the coloring with my Copics. The sentiment stamp is also from Whimsy and available in the New Holiday Ticket Sentiment Collection by Raindrop Echo Designs. Punches/dies I used are from the Punch Bunch, Knorr-Prandell and Tim Holtz. Flowers, ribbons and charms are from my stash. I added some highlights with Stickels and sewing with the machine. DP is from Bo Bunny. Whimsy Stamps is also having a fun Blog Hop today for the Fall / Halloween October Digi Release ! These are super cute images designed by the Whimsy artists! ...

Happy Hump Day to you all! Today I like to show you another card I made with one of the very versatile stamps from Belles 'n Whistles new ChangeaBelles collection ! This time I made a Christmas card using 'Kneeling Belle' and the little doggie .  I stamped Belle onto Cryogen white paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my Copics (photo at the end). DP is from Memory Box - Spice Berry . I also did some sewing with the machine. The sentiment is from SU as well as the border punch. Here is a close-up on the image. The swirl stamps in the corners are clear stamps (dunno the brand anymore) which I bought 2 years ago and these are very nice wintery and christmassy swirls! The large poinsettia was made using a Bosskut die. I finished the inside as well. The stamps are clear stamps from a little set I got at Michaels for $1 last year. The card comes with a matching envelope box. These are the Copics I used on this card. This card is for sal...

Lovely-hAnglar-Only Challenge #9 - Seasonal

Image
Happy Sunday Friends! Today a new Lovely-Hanglar-Only Challenge starts and it is my turn to pick the theme. As the holiday season is almost on our door steps and everyone starts creating holiday themed  projects I decided to go with the theme 'Seasonal'. So you can enter a card or project with a holiday theme as well as a Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter card. I think that leaves a lot of options! Hope you like it and come and join us at the Lovely-Hanglar-Only challenge blog ! For my inspirational DT card I chose to go with a Winter theme. I picked this cute guy, he is from the 'Tomtekit 2008'. I kept my card in blue and beige tones. The image was stamped onto Cryogen paper from Arjo Wiggins with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored using Copic markers. (Cloth: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44 & B0000, B91, B93, B97) I used Stickles Star Dust and Arctic Ice to highlight and some glitz. The large snowflake was cut out using my Cricut and the Christmas/Noel cartr...
