Burst of Colors

Happy Hump-Day friends and thanks for stoppingn by my blog today! I'm working on several projects right now, but I still have some saved cards to show which I made earlier on assignment. This one was made for a 11 year old. Therefore I kept it pretty plain. The Hedgehog image was also requested. Glad I had this cute little Hedgehog image from Stampin' Up! which I received as a gift last year from dear Christa. Thanks again Christa!!! :-))))) I colored with distress inks, embellies are from my stash and DP is Basic Grey. I highlighted the candy cane using a Sakura glaze pen (sorry, you can't see it very well). Hello & Happy Monday all! Today it's time for another Roses on Paper / Belles 'n Whistles Challenge over at our combined RoP/BnW challenge blog . Wonderful Susan is the host this time and she picked a color challenge with the option to make a card, tag or gift bag. The colors are Burgundy - Hunter Green - Gold I made a pillow box using 'Silent Night Tilda' from the 'So Jolly' Magnolia Collection. Selected images still available at Roses on Paper . Better hurry before they are all gone! I colored Tilda using Copics and Spica Glitter Pens. The template for the pillow box can be found here . My DP is DCWV and CS is from Bazzill. Martha Stewart punches were used for the decorative border and holly leaves. The glitter I used on Tildas coat is from Martha Stewarts gemstone glitter collection (color: peridot). Hello Everyone and a Happy 3rd Advent! Hope you all have enjoyed your weekend so far! I want to show you today my snow globe card. I wanted to try this for some time now and finally I had the time to try it out! And what can I say, it was huuuuge fun to make it. This was just my prototype. I got some more ideas during making it and like to try another one tomorrow. The image I used is a snowman stamp from The Greeting Farm , colored with Copics. I added Shimmerz to the 'snowy' part of the snowman to achieve that extra crystal glitz of snow. You should be able to see it in the close up. After cutting all my parts and before assembling them I stamped a snowflake background (from Hero Arts) to the light blue circle using Ranger Perfect Medium and added some super fine crystal glitter. For even more snowflake effect I added snowflake outline stickers from Starform. The icicle's were cut using a Martha Stewart border punch, the 'snow' on top of the transparency circle

Happy Thursday Folks! My card today shows the super cute Belles 'n Whistles stamp 'Jingle Bells' which you can get here . For my layout I used this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering this card for the ongoing challenge there. My papers are all DCWV (CS & DP) and I colored my image using Copics. I kept the inside pretty plain just added a few stickers and a sentiment rub-on.
