Mermaid

Image
Yes I did make a card today but I can't show it here....well at least not yet. ;-) The card I made is a surprise for a friend who checks my blog frequently. (GOTCHA Uwe! Hihi you need to wait a little longer ;-)...Aetsch Uwe zu frueh gefreut, musst noch bissi warten ;-) ) But what I can show you is an image I colored in...fianlly. I wanted to color this image for quite some time now. I LOVE Mermaids and this very cute stamp is called Mermaid Lisa from Rubber Romance (I first saw it at my friend Susan's blog and than bought it at Susanas Custom Art and Card Design). So I was quite successful today....I made the card which I can't show, I colored Mermaid Lisa and I almost finished a second card. Well still a little work to do on that one but finishing it will be an easy and quick project for tomorrow and will give me a head start on my challenge card for our ROP Challenge Blog's new challenge starting on Monday. No, no can't tell you yet what the theme is..hehe, but...

First Becca Kay Challenge

Hello and I can almost say Happy Hump Day ... lol. BUT not yet...still a 1 1/2 hours to go... A few days ago I was blog hopping and came a cross the blog of BeccaKay Designs . She is designing and selling wonderful digital stamps! I fell in love instantly with her designs! Isn't that little cowgirl just fabulous? I just had to have it...well and a few others too... lol! There is also the first challenge going on at Beccakay Designs Blog and all what you have to do is make a card using one of her images! So I came up with this card today as my entry for the challenge. I colored her with my copics and printed the image on Curious Iridescent Cryogen White. (At the moment my absolute favorite for coloring with Copics) DP is from Basic Grey (sugared), CS is from Bazzill. The yellowish background paper is from the Basic Grey pad and I added my own texture to it. I stamped dotted swirls and flowers (Inque Boutique Clear Stamp Set) with Perfect Medium from Ranger. Heat embossed using tr...

Copic Creations Challenge #2

Hello everybody and Happy Monday :-)! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. We had a relaxing one ... enjoying the sun, the pool and had a great BBQ with loads of delicious stuff...yummy! My card for today is my entry for Copic Creations Challenge #2 . This time it is all about coloring jeans. I had inked up this Magnolia image for quite a while now and thought it would be perfect for the challenge. So I sat her in Spellbinders Lables 3. The sentiment is a digital stamp from The Cutting Cafe and the small flowers in the center of the Prima Hydrangeas I found at Michaels the other day. Punch used is from Martha Stewart and the charm I made using pearls and metall embellishments from my stash. DP is from Basic Grey and CS is Bazzill I'll post a pic of the Copics I used tomorrow, I forgot to make the picture today! 4-28-2009 edited to add: Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

And because I like 3 colors better than just 2 I added green. I stamped the cute Rachelle Ann Miller Garden Bear image on Curious Iridescent Cryogen White, colored it with my copics and highlighted the flowers and little bee's wings with some Stickles and decorative pearls.
