All That - Kenny K for Whimsy

Image
Happy Saturday my dear friends! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! The card I like to show to you today is made with one of the Kenny K rubber stamps now available at Whimsy Stamps . I'm so happy that these are now available in rubber too. As much as I like digi's I still prefer rubber a bit more!  I colored 'All That' using my Copics and for the first time I used digital papers. Was a brand new experience for me printing out my DP but I have to say I like it a lot!!!! The digital DP I used is from Nitwit . They have fantastic DP there. The ticket sentiments are also from Whimsy as well as the ticket die I used to cut them out. I just love the ticket sentiments and now that Denise has the ticket die in the store availabe it is so easy to cut them out. A perfect ticket shape every time! The swirls and flowers are cut out using Marianne Design dies. This is also my entry into the following challenges: Stamp Something: Stamp Soemthing! Simon Says Stamp :

The Pixie Cottage Wednesday Challenge - Coloring

Image
Hello friends and welcome to another 'Upon a Wednesday Challenge' from the Pixie Cottage ! It is my second Wednesday today as a guests designer for The Pixie Cottage . This week we want you to use your favorite coloring technique and also have a sketch for you if you like using sketches! You can use both, the technique and the sketch or either one. For my GDT card I used Pepe Le Penguin as Le Chef by Alisa Ramirez. And as I have actually 3 favorite coloring methods (Copics, Distress Inks and Pencils) I used two of them on my  image. I colored  Pepe using pencils and OMS and also did some Copic airbrushing. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Birthday Letter Seals . DP is from Basic Grey's Marakesh collection. Flowers ribbon and lace is from my stash. I used Spellbinder dies, EK Sucess punch and a Marianne Design swirly leaf die. I cut the swirly leaves out using orqange CS and then colored the tips using the Copic airbrush system and a little darker orange. For a final

Hello all and Happy Monday to you! Hope you all had a good start into the work week after a nice weekend. My weekend was great, we had my best friend here visiting us from Germany :-)  Both, she and her hubby, ran the Disney Marathon yesterday...and they did it ...of course! ;-) They finished with a great time and  brought home the fab Mickey medal! Yay! Congrats again to you guys!!! The card I want to show you today is a commissioned card I made. The chosen colors are the colors of the birthday-'boys' (lol not at all a boy anymore ;-) ) favorite soccer club.  I colored this fab Kenny K digi image using my distress inks. I printed the image onto water color paper using my laser printer. This works pretty well if I choose the manual paper feeder and the setting for thick paper. The DP is from Glitz Design. The Ticket Sentiments are from Whimsy as well as the Ticket Die I used to cut them out. I also decorated the inside. The circle sentiment is from Whimsy's Bi

This time my super talented DT sister Marina created a recipe for us: 3 flowers 2 brads 1 ribbon And this is what I came up with using Marina's recipe: For a change I colored this hAnglar cutie with pencils and OMS. I haven't done this technique for quite some time and it was so much fun to do something other than Copics or Distress Inks. ;-) Sooooo... my next creations will be colored using pencils and OMS. :-) I have a huge stash of colored pencils (brands I use are: Prisma Color, Derwent Coloursoft and Faber Castell Polychromos. I also have a few Koh-I-Noor) and it was wonderful to dig into all the colors! DP is from Basic Greys 'Curio' collection. Sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash don't know the manufacturer.
