Smile for the Holidays

Hello Friends! It's Whimsy release time!

There are fabulous new products in this release. One of them is the New Selfies die set I am using on my card below. I combined it with the cute Santa from the Warm Fuzzies clear set that has been released in October. 

I watercolored with Mijello Gold watercolors and added some detail with F.C. Albrecht Durer pencils. I love this combination of coloring products because with the Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils you can add details and then soften it with a damp brush as you please. The background was dry embossed using the Twinkle stencil and a die cutting maching set up with a sandwich that includes one or two rubber mats. The embossing is much more pronounced in real life than it shows in the photos.
