Summertime = Ice Cream Time

Image
Hi Everyone! Summertime = Ice Cream Time! Who doesn't love to indulge in some ice cream on a hot Summer day?! I know I do! I used the cute accessories stamps from the NEW Polka Dot Pals Kezia set to create my shaker card. The shaker frame was die cut using the NEW FADoodles Frames Scalloped Rectangles die set.  I colored the images with my Tombow ABT Pro markers and they were stamped with Memento ink onto Hammermill Digital Color Copy Cardstock 100lb. The sentiment is from the Giraffe Peeking set. Here is a list for all the Whimsy products I've used:                           Thanks for visiting! Hugs,

Giraffe Hello

Image
Hello Friends! A little late but I want to share my creations for Whimsy Stamps latest mini release. Unfortunately some pretty sad real life events kept me from doing so last week. Here is my first creation using the super adorable Giraffes Peeking stamp set illustrated by Dustin Pike and the awesome FADoodles Frames by Faye. I stamped with Ink on 3 Blackout Hybrid Ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media Paper and colored the image using Altenew's Watercolor Brush Markers. The sentiment is included in the  FADoodles Frames  set as is the little flower. I stamped the little flower onto white shrink plastic to make my own little matching charm. The BG paper I've used is from the  Cosmic 6x6 paper pad . A few different sized sequins in matching colors finish off my card. Oops!

Happy TGIF Peeps! It is a rainy afternoon here on Floridas Space Coast. So it was the perfect time to assemble my newest Whimsy creation. I've colored this cute monkey two days ago already but didn't have the time to finish my card until today.  The stamp set is called NEW Monkey Sundae from Whimsy Stamps Dustin Pike collection. I've stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper. I went for a no-lines watercolor technique using Karin Brushmarker Pro. I love these markers because there are so many coloring techniques you can use them for and their vibrancy is just phenomenal. A little bit goes a real long way with these markers! I've listed the marker colors used below. For my background I've used the NEW 'Burst' Background Stamp with 3 different colored blue inks to enhance the burst effect. Also new this month the Oops Word & Shadow Die . For my card the shadow was cut form black cardstock and for...

Happy Monday and welcome to my blog today ! It is release time at Whimsy again and my release inspiration project shows another comic book style card. This time a slimline version. By the way, did you know - Slimline Dies are Whimsy Stamps originals and were the first available on the market. Whimsy has a variety of slimline dies styles available in the store. So when you shop for slimline dies make sure you buy the original! :-) For my comic book inspired card I chose the NEW Super Dogs stamp set, NEW Comics 6x6 paper pad and NEW Slimline Wonky Window 1 die as well as the Comic Speech Bubbles die set that was released last month. I colored with Karin Brushmarker Pro, images stamped onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper. Here is a list for all the Whimsy products I've used:                                Have fun with the new products and don't forget...

Fresh Friday Featuring Ellie Blows Bubbles

Image
Hey Peeps! Today is Friday and that means time for another round of Fresh Friday product features on the Whimsy Inspirations blog . The Fresh Friday products are now 20% off during the 2 weeks feature. No coupon code needed as they are already marked down in the store. Go and get this awesome sale!! Here is my inspiration using some of the featured products - the super cute Ellie Blows Bubbles rubber stamp by Crissy Armstrong, You Are sentiment clear stamps and  Notched Square dies .  I colored my image with Karin Brushmarker Pro . This is a pretty simple card but the shaped card base, several layers, popped up sentiment and added embellies and glitz gives this otherwise simple card an interesting touch. So even if you create a fast and fairly simple card it does not have to be boring. We don't always have the time and create for hours - even if I wish I would ...LOL. So this card was done in a little bit over an hour including coloring.  H...
