Whimsy Showcase Day 7 - XOXO

Hello Crafting Friends and Welcome to Day 7 of Our June Rubber & Die Release Showcase! On Wednesday (22 August) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, new Shapeology dies, new digital papers and new Shape EZ by TLC. From then until 28 August the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop. I am part of today’s hop and this is what I came up with

This cutie pie is called 'Honey Bee' and was illustrated by Elisabeth Bell, available in rubber now in the Whimsy store! I colored her up using Copics and she was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto MIC card. Sentiment is made with the new 'Spell It Out'  set. The designer papers I've used is a new  Michele Roos collection called 'Flower Doodles' It's an awesome design and I love working with digital papers. I print them out on 80 lbs cardstock. I think this is the best layering weight. Not as stiff as the 110 lbs what I use for my card base but still firm enough to hold shape. Flowers are from WOC and Prima.

Dies are from Memory Box and Joy! Crafts. Other embellishments used are button, button string, organza ribbon, crystal garland, pearls and pearl bread. 

 Of course I had to add Stickles to the image, just can't do without!

The inside was decorated the match the outside. I used papers from the same collection and also the Memory Box heart border die
