One Layer Card - Darling Dalmatian

Hiya Everyone! I don't do one layer cards too often but once while I enjoy doing them. This one was published in Whimy's Inspiration Magazine / April issue.

If doing one layer cards it is best to use heavy card stock for the card base. I like to use Gina K Pure Luxury 120lbs. Even if I color using my Copic's it's not bleeding through and the inside stays nice, white and clean! 

I colored the cute pup using my Copic's.

I've added a ribbon and some bakers twine, topped it off with a matching red button and added the sentiment 'To be loved' from the 'Love Mini Tickets' collection from Raindrop Echo Designs. The small embossed lines on the bottom and the top is made with border embossing folders.
