Whimsy Showcase Day 5 - Cherished Friend
Hello and welcome to Day 5 of our May Rubber & Die Release Showcase!
On Wednesday (23 May) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 29 May the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop! So here's my creation with the super cute 'Teeny Mouse Hugs' from Whimsy's Meljens Design Collection:
The cute couple was colored using my Copics. I've added lots of Stickles 'Icicle' and 'Stardust' for some bling, I just can't do a card without it ;-) I kept the card on the simpler side to show off the wonderful new Whimsy Double Scallop Doily die. It also fits perfectly with your largest classic circle nestie from Spellbinders. That's what I used to cut out my image and layered it onto the doily. But the doily is also large enough to stamp your image right into the middle part.
The corners of my card I embellished with Whimsy's corner dies and some Kaisercraft rhinestones and Prima crystals. The sentiment is from the Friendship Notables 2 set and cut out with the matching Notables 2 die. I also used two orange cut outs (with the Notables 2 die) to layer the sentiment on. Button and ribbon is from my stash and the DP is from Kaisercrafts 'Tigerlily' collection.
Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.
