Whimsy April Release Showcase Day 4

 
Hello everyone and welcome to Day 4 of our April Rubber & Die Release Showcase! On Wednesday (18 April) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 24 April the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop! And here is the showcase creation I made for today's mini hop using Goldie from Wee stamps.
I thought I do her name justice and colored her fishtail golden :-) I also wanted to give her hair a different color...something else then red or blonde what's usually used for mermaids hair.... so I picked turquoise to have a nice contrast to the gold! And of course all the coloring was done with Copics. The sentiment is also from the new release called 'Everyday Sayings Notables 4' and was cut out with the matching die Notables 4. The chandelier garland and the sweet blossoms are from the Whimsy Buds section in the store. The rest of the flowers, rhinestones, ribbon and charm is from my stash. DP is from Kaisercraft.


I used Stardust Stickles and Lime Stickles to add some bling to the image.

    This card is absolutely gorgeous. I love the turquoise hair. Your colouring is perfect and I love how you have lightened the colours behind the bubble and given them a bluish tinge. It makes the bubble look so rwal!
