Whimsy presents Shape EZ by TLC

Hello Whimsy Fans! We are extremely excited to announce the arrival of Whimsy Stamps newest product line! Today Whimsy Stamps are launching their brand new line of templates and cut files called SHAPE EZ by TLC. Whimsy’s very own Tammy Louise Cunliffe is the super-talented artist behind this new line, and she has designed some brilliant templates and cut files for making one-of-a-kind cards, projects, gifts, and more! These are downloadable templates and each file includes a JPG, PNG, PDF, and SVG version of the template along with how-to instructions. Each product is hand crafted and tested by artist Tammy Louise Cunliffe. Whimsy Stamps is releasing 6 fabulous Shape EZs today:

Some of the Whimsy DT have been busy creating with these templates to celebrate this debut release with a BLOG HOP! The hop starts today (Monday October 31st noon EST) and ends on Sunday November 6th at noon EST. For this hop we have several different prize draws.  And here is what I came up with for the blog hop:

I used the Shape Easy Gift Pouch and cut it out using my electronic cutter. This was super easy! And after scoring and folding I was already ready to glue it together. Really easy peasy and super quick. These are ideal for Christmas mass-production!! I decided not to have a window in it because I wanted to attach a design to the flap instead.The little penguin is part of a stamp from last year's Winter collection called I'd follow you anywhere designed by Crissy Armstrong. I colored the little guy using Copics. The border on the bottom is a Memory Box die called Frostyville Border. I cut it out using white glitter paper for a nice frosty look. DP is from Recollections Sugar Plums collection. I dipped my rose in glass glitter to give it a frosty effect as well. The poinsettia petals underneath are die cut with a Marianne Design die and the clear crystal stem is from Whimsy's Embellishments.

Here's a close-up on the little cute penguin and you can also see my frosted rose a little better.

I used snowflake shaped eyelets to cover the holes for the ribbon. To help keep the flap shut even when it's filled I used a little piece of velcro. For a finishing touch I added some rhinestones to the snowy border.
