Belles 'n Whistles Challenge - Happy New Year
Hello and Happy Monday all! It's my turn to host this fortnightly Belles 'n Whistles Challenge! Are you feeling the same as I do? Can't see those Christmas cards anymore? Well then lets move on to the next holiday after Christmas! :-) Of course...New Years! I am challenging you this time to create a New Year's Project. That can be everything: a card, a gift box, a bottle hanger for a champagne bottle, place cards for your New Years dinner etc. Just get creative!
I decided to make a New Years Card and choose Skiing Snowbaby as my image.
I colored her with Copics and then used the 'Cracked Glass Technique' to give it an antique look! I posted a tutorial today on our Belles 'n Whistles Inspirational Blog on how to do the cracked glass technique. You'll find all the details here: 'Tutorial Cracked Glass Technique' !
The DP is from Bo Bunny, the flowers are Prima and Petaloo. The sentiment is from a mini clear stamp set from Hamton Art. Punches I used are from Fiskars, EK Success and Martha Stewart. I distressed the papers using Tea Dye Distress Ink. Stickles: Star Dust and Platinum.
Thanks for visiting me today and we would be delighted if you like to join in on our challenge over at the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog!
See you there!
See you there!
