5th Roses on Paper Challenge - Starting Today!!!

Our 5th challenge is starting today over at the "Roses on Paper Challenge Blog". This time our very talented Peta came up with a great idea for the challenge!

In Peta's words:

"Create a Valentines Day Card
using the Masking Technique.

For those of you who have never done masking,
don't panic, it's not scarey, it's actually quite fun
and the results are great...
Masking Tutorial(Peta's Blog)

Just remember, the image you want to appear in front
needs to be stamped first, the image that is way in the
back is the last image...
In honour of Summer's love of roses your card must include at least one ROSE
(think outside the square - doesn't have to be a stamp)
Layout is your choice."

and to see who won challenge number 4 visit our challenge blog!

For my card I chose the sweet Magnolia image sitting Tilda with letter. I love this stamp from the Magnolia Valentine Collection available in Summers shop. And because Tilda is supposed to sit I thought that this really cute and huge Love Muffin from Alota would be great as her seating.
And as the challenge is "Masking" I thought that there sould be little more masking than just sitting Tilda on that muffin and so I decided to add some mini muffins in the background. After I masked Tilda and the Love Muffin I colored the background using a chalk ink pad. Than I stamped the mini muffins using watermark ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder to point them out a little more.
So what are you waiting for hop on over to our Roses on Paper Challenge Blog, take a look at the sketch, get inspired by the wonderful cards my fellow DT members came up with and start crafting! And don't forget, to participate in the challenge you must use a Magnolia, Alota, Whiff of Joy, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Anne Miller or stamp from The Greeting Farm!

Unsere 5. Challenge auf unserem "Roses on Paper Challenge Blog" startet heute!
