Totally Tiffany Product Review - Die Storage and Design Board

Totally Tiffany Product Review

Hello and Happy Monday to all my fellow crafters. Whimsy Stamps and Totally Tiffany teamed up and today I am here to review two products I received from Totally Tiffany in exchange for this review. Thank you for this opportunity!
Totally Tiffany is a company which sells all different kinds of storage and organization products for crafters, especially scrapbooking / card making. If you don't know them already here is a link to their website Totally Tiffany. Go and check them out you will be thrilled and surprised by the variety and usefulness of their products! These products make it easy to declutter your craft room and get organzied!

You will also have the chance to win some Totally Tiffany goodies :-) A little later in this review I will provide you with a link to a sweepstake. It's easy, just enter to win ;-)

....and if you are looking closely you might see some new Whimsy goodies.... just saying.

Ok but now onto the first product review:

Die-Namic Storage Set

This die storage set is called Die-Namic Die Storage and includes 5 pocket cards 5 storage sleeves for pocket cards and 1 carrying case with handle. It is made out of clear plastic which appears to be fairly sturdy. The size of the case is 13″ x 7″ x 1″. This is a neat size, big enough to hold quite some dies but not too large to carry it around. The case makes it easy to carry around your dies e.g. if you go to craft events or for get together at a friends house.

The pocket cards tucked into the sleeves. The recess on the brim of each sleeve makes it easy to lift out the pocket cards.

The pocket cards have each a tab on top which can be labeled to make it easier to find the contents. The clear plastic also makes it a breeze to see whats inside. They also have 5 layered / staggered pockets which are about 1 inch in height. Because they are staggered it makes it easier to find your dies or products.

Here you can see how they look with my Whimsy dies inserted in the pockets. They fit neatly :-) I also labeled the tab! aaahhh and yes these are NEW Whimsy dies :-D They will be released later this week...keep your eyes peeled! ;-)

Not only dies, also my stencils fit! Another Whimsy sneak peek.... You can put smaller dies, stencils or stamps in the lower pockets and smaller items in the top ones.

Or how about having your stamps and matching dies together in one pouch...or stamp set and matching stencil ;-) (more new whimsy stuffs ;-) )! That's organizing I love! You will have everything together which makes creating much faster and more fun!

Here's my Die-Namic Storage Set filled with dies, stencils and stamps. I love the usefulness of this die storage case and that it is so versatile. It also is light weight and makes carrying it around fun. From now on my dies, stencils and stamp sets are always organized.

I mentioned earlier that you are able to win some Totally Tiffany products. Just click the link below, fill out the form and you are entered to win! Good luck!

Clip & Create Rotating Design Board

The second product I am going to review is the Clip & Create Rotating Design Board.  Oh my I can tell you I am totally in love with this design board already! For me as a card maker and colorist this is such a huge help! Why is that you ask? I will show you in a minute....first let me give you some facts about the board itself....
The size of the board is 9″ x 11″ x 1.25″. There's a large clip included to hold your projectsIt is made out of wood and coated with a smooth, hard white plastic layer. The smooth plastic surface also makes cleaning it easy. But the best thing is you can rotate it! It moves freely a full 360 degrees.

The two trays are connected through a ball-bearing, so they rotate smoothly.

The large clip is strong and moveable to hold your work in place. The underside of the part of the clip which holds your work in place is smooth so it wont damage your products.

For me of course this is ideal when I am coloring. I always rotate my image while coloring and this Rotating Design Board makes it very easy to do that! Just perfect!

But not only coloring...it's awesome while using your stencils too. In this pictures I am using my stencil (yes the new butterfly stencil from Whimsy!) with some modelling paste. Rotating the board makes it easy to apply the paste and make sure I have it everywhere I want it to be.

Here I am decorating a card on the board. It's so much nicer when I can rotate my card a full 360 degrees while putting on all the embellishments. Or when making one of my mixed media tags.

But no matter what crafts you like to do I am sure this board comes in quite handy for you as well. It is sturdy, stable and has 4 small foam rubber feet to hold it in place while you are working and rotating it.

I might even try and use it as a lazy susan the next time I make cup cakes, or when making a flower arrangement ....the ideas are endless!

I mentioned earlier that you are able to win some Totally Tiffany products. Just click the link below, fill out the form and you are entered to win! Good luck!

I hope you liked my reviews. I would love to hear from you, so please leave a comment if you have a moment, thank you! It's very much appreciated!

Don't forget.....the Whimsy January Rubber and Clear Release starts Wednesday! There will be some awesome new Rubber and Clear Stamps as well as Dies and something new ;-)

Day 19 of Whimsy's Countdown to Christmas - Hearts of Love

Welcome Whimsy Friends to Day 19 of Whimsy's Countdown to Christmas! Only a few more days until Santa arrives :-) Are you ready yet and done with all your Christmas preparations? I actually am (woohoo) and I thought I would start making some Valentines cards.

Here's a CAS card I made using the Card Builder - Hearts of Love die set

The card measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches. The second layer is 0.5 inches smaller. I cut out the word Love from the second layer and used the negative. To make it really pop I  layered it on to a piece of red card stock. The red heart was cut out from the same red card stock. I then added some burlap string and attached the large heart with a small white cloth pin. I decided to also use the tiny heart. I drew a line using a black Copic multi liner pen, adhering the tiny heart at the end of the line. This gives the effect as the tiny heart would just drop off the large heart.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Whimsy Stamps Countdown to Christmas - Day

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to Day 6 of the Whimsy Stamps Countdown to Christmas.

December 6th / Saint Nicholas Day is a special day in Germany (and other European countries of course) where I'm from originally. We celebrate this day in remembrance of  historical Saint Nicholas also called Nicolas of Myra or Bishop of Myra and his legendary habit of secret gift-giving.
Usually kids will get boots filled with candy, fruit, nuts and small gifts. We always celebrated in the evening of the 6th when I was a child but some already had their boots filled in the night from the 5th to the 6th depending on which part from Germany you are from.
This is why I picked Santa's Glee today for my card. I thought it's the perfect image for today :-) He is available in the Whimsy store as digital stamp from the Crissy Armstrong collection.

I also used two dies from the Whimsy Shapeology collection: Merry - large word die and  Hand Stitched Borders. I kept my card simple to have the focus on the image. Only three small dots from the Christmas Cheer Enamel Dots and a red sequin embellish my card.

Here is a list of Copic colors I've used:
Santa's Cloth
Red: R22, R24, R46, R59
White: C5, C3, B41, C1, C00
Shoes and Belt: C10, C8, C6, C4 B41

Santa's Face and Hair
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R02
Hair: W6, W4, W2, W0

Other
Santa's List: E50, E53 T2
Pencil: E57, E50
Outline: B000, B00

Thanks for stopping buy today .

Whimsy Stamps Digital Shop Grand Re-Opening!

The long-anticipated Day is here!! Welcome to
Whimsy Stamps Digital Shop Grand Re-Opening!
Whimsy has a selection of images, sentiments and papers that are now available to purchase, download and use immediately!

This is my creation using  N’ice Friends 2 colored with Copics

I also used Purple Winter digital papers, Snowdrops digital paper as well as the newly released Snowflake dies.

Copic colors used:
Blue: B000, B00, B02, B04, B06
Purple: BV0000, BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08
Snowman: BG000, BG90, BG93
Birds: E50, E51, E53
Nose and beaks: YR15, YR07
Cheeks: R30, R02

Digital images are great because you can flip images, use the computer to “mask” and combine images and backgrounds, and re-size everything to suit your personal projects before you print them off. Please read the Terms Of Use with each product purchased for all the details.

Digital images are so easy to use. And they can be printed again and again, as many times as you like for your own personal crafting needs! What a bonus, especially when it comes to patterned paper - no more need to hoard a paper stash - once you have purchased and downloaded Whimsy’s Digital paper packs, you can print off your favourite sheets as many times as you like! What’s more, you can customize the size of the sheet you are printing (there’s less wasted paper that way). How about that, crafters! Surely it doesn’t get much better than that!

Look at what’s being released at Whimsy today!

Whimsy will be releasing new digital products on the first of every month, so mark your calendars and be sure to join the release party on FB where we will have games and award prizes to randomly drawn players. In fact, get on over to FB https://www.facebook.com/events/789460344529297/permalink/790111334464198/ where the party has just started (Nov 1, 12 PM EST)! If you play the games, you could win something Whimsy-cal. The more you play, the greater your chances. (Exciting, right!?) But don’t leave just yet!

You have just got to see what the rest of the Whimsy Digi Designer Divas, and our Very Special Guest Zoe from Make It Crafty have created with the digi’s. We are showing off our gorgeous cards for you over the next two days, November 1st and 2nd. Go visit each blog to see what magic each Diva has cooked up. Your eyes will bug out of your head and your jaw will hit the floor. You’ve been fairly warned. Jussayin!
  Iris Wiechmann (you are here)
  Maria Sabina,

Thank you for stopping by! Don’t forget to join the Release Party on Facebook to get in on your chance to win Whimsy-cal prizes!! Bye for now!

Hugs 'n Fishes - Happy Birthday

Happy Friday Friends! Perfect for the end of the week, a happy little birthday card! :-) This little fella is an image by Krista Heij Barber, called Hugs 'n Fishes and was released with Whimsy's July release. Isn't that the happiest little fish? Sooo cute!

I only used part of the image and colored using my Distress Ink Markers. The image was stamped onto Fabriano Artistico hot press watercolor paper - my favorite because it's extra white and super smooth.

Here's a close-up. I tried to catch all the shimmer I put on the background 'water' but that's quite difficult. I used a Wink of Stella clear brush pen (I loooove these!) for that. It's so nice and shimmery, wish you could see it.

Distress Markers I've used to color:

Wild Honey
Dried Marigold
Abandoned Coral
Barn Door
Aged Mahogany
Vintage Photo
Tumbled Glass
Broken China
Salty Ocean
Mermaid Lagoon
Evergreen Bough
Peacock Feathers

Hugs and have a happy weekend!
