Hey Everyone!

Today kicks off the Whimsy July 2016 release party over in our Whimsy Stamps and Inspirations Facebook group. The Whimsy DT will be sharing sneak peeks at the new products releasing on Wednesday, July 13th. You can join us for games, fun, and a chance to win Whimsy prizes.

To join our release party event, just pop over to the Whimsy group any time during the week from Monday, July 11th through Friday, July 15th.

 

Here is a slider card I made with the **NEW** Card Builder Many Thanks Die Set, Many Thanks stamp set & Slip 'n Slide Dies. - all available in the Whimsy Store on Wednesday!! Furthermore I used the Whimsy Designer Papers Summer Breeze with the matching Summer Breeze Enamel Dots from last months release.

 

 

 

 

My second card for today is very CAS using the **NEW** Bold Statements - also available in the Whimsy Store on Wednesday -  and an older clear set called Circles, Circles, Circles as well as the
Summer Breeze Enamel Dots again. I soooo love these enamel dots - can you tell? lol

Whimsy Stamps June Rubber Release News and Inspiration

Over the past 2 days we showcased 9 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps, 2 new Clearly Whimsy Sets and Brand new Whimsy Designer Papers and Enamel dots.  All of these new products are available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from selected Whimsy Stamps retailers.

Here is my creation for today:

This time I did not color my image. I just stamped Summer Daisy with a brownish-orange ink, cut it out with the Stitched Tag die set and distressed the edges of the tag with brushed corduroy distress ink. I used the new Sentiment Banner dies to stamp my sentiment on which is from the Handmade from Me Clearly Whimsy Set. DP is from the NEW Whimsy Papers Summer Breeze. Other Whimsy dies used: Picket Fence die and Butterfly border die.

Clearly Whimsy Stamps June Release News and Inspiration

Over the next 2 days we will showcase 4*BRAND NEW* Clear stamps,and 2*BRAND NEW* Shapeology crafting die!    All of these new products are available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016.

Today we are sharing creations made using Ocean Journeys , Ocean Journeys Sentiments, Sentiment Banner dies, papers, dots

 

      

Here are my two creations for today .... using the NEW Ocean Journeys stamp and sentiment sets as well as the NEW Sentiment Banner Dies:

On this card I also used the new Whimsy DP Summer Breeze as well as the matching enamel dots. The background behind the sailboat was stamped using the Whimsy Distress Backgrounds set.

This tag I distressed around the edges with brushed corduroy ink. I then stamped some of the nautical elements using Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy and Faded Jeans onto the tag as well as the burlap stamp from the Distressed Backgrounds set. I stamped the sail boat and waves onto a smaller tag and distressed it as well. The compass was stamped onto cream cardstock using Antique Linen and than fuzzy cut, after that distressed with Faded Jeans. The sentiment from the Ocean Journey Sentiment set was stamped using Versamark ink. The little banner border was made using the New Sentiment Banner Dies.I adhered everything using glue and 3D tape to give it some dimension.

Here is my first card using the Squeezed stamp set and the Squeezed Dies as well as the Summer Breeze Paper and matching enamel dots:

I colored using Copics and pencils and the background was done with Distress markers and the Distress Spritzer Tool.

For my card today I used a stamp from the Kitten Kindness  set by Lee Holland. The sentiment comes with the set.

I colored using Copics, DP is from Basic Grey. Flowers and embellies are from my stash. I also added some white Gesso to the die cut and flowers. To add some bling I've added Stickles Stardust (always my to go Stickles) to some of the flowers and the image.

For my card today I used Mariposa by Wee Stamps.

I colored her using Copics. All dies I've used are from Whimsy's Shapeology collection: Picked Fence die, Butterfly Border die. The Birdcage die has been retired and is no longer available. Papers I've used are from Maja Design.Flowers and emebllies are from my stash.
