April 2015 Release - Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our ...
April Rubber Stamp and Die Release

Over the next 3 days we will reveal 15*BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets  and 3 Die Sets. They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.

For my sneak peek creation today I used one of Krista Heij-Barber's new images called Super Boy

I used Copics to color him and did the shadow with Sennelier watercolors. I also used the NEW Cross Stitch Border Die Set. Papers are from MME "Lime Twist" collection. Sentiment and single words are included with the stamp!

La-La Land Crafts April Release - Showcase Day 2

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Day 2 of the La-La Land Crafts April Release! Here is an overview of all the NEW rubber stamps and dies and they are available in the store NOW!

For my second release creation today I chose Shy Marci :

The papers I used are from MME and the dies are  the NEW Topiary Die Set, Love to Garden Die Set and Tall Birdhouses Die Set .  The sentiment comes with the stamp.

La-La Land Crafts April Release - GDT

Hello Everyone and Welcome to the La-La Land Crafts April Release! Here is an overview of all the new rubber stamps and dies that are being released today and are available in the store NOW!

For my release creation I colored up 'Groovy Luka':

Isn't he a handsome fella in his groovy shirt and flip flops :-) The dies I used are  Yin Yang Border die and Groovy Elements Dies. Papers are from basic Grey. The sentiment comes with the stamp.

LLLC Challenge - Anything Goes with Buttons or Butterflies

Spring/Easter - La La Land Crafts Challenge

Hello All and a Very Happy Monday..it's the Easter week already! Wow times is flying and I'm looking forward to do some egg coloring and baking Easter treats this week. How about you?
It's La La Land Crafts Challenge time again! Today we have the theme Spring/Easter, just perfect

For my GDT creation this week I used the adorable Paper Doll Marci and chose to make kind of a CAS style Spring time card:

I colored Paper Doll Marci using Copics. For a list of colors used please scroll down to the next picture. I've also used the Lotus Die Set to create my flowers. The sentiment and the rain drops are included with the image stamp.

Hello there! Say it Big is the new sentiment set from the Whimsy March release. I love these bigger, single words, especially on CAS cards!

I also used the Honeycomb die set and the wave die from the Stitched Border die Trio. Butterfly, twine and button from my stash.

Doilies - La La Land Crafts Challenge

Hello All and Happy Monday! It's La La Land Crafts Challenge time again!

Today it's time for Doilies! So get out your doilies dies, paper doilies etc! Show us what you can create using doilies :-)

Here is my GDT creation for this weeks challenge:

The cute stamp is called Love You Marci. I used a paper doilie as well as a La-La land Crafts Heart Doilie Border die. The sentiments comes with the stamp. DP is from a retired Whimsy paper pad. Flowers and all other embellies are from my stash.

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend! Today I want to show you a card I made using 'Maggie's Hand Me Downs' by Lizzy Love from Whimsy Stamps.

She's been colored using Copics. Sorry no Copic list today, I forgot to write down the colors while coloring. :-/ I also used some Whimsy dies: Swirly Balloon Border Die, Lace  Doily Mini Corner die,  Elegant Flourish Die Set, and Build a Banner die set

Something New - La-La Land Crafts Challenge

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! It's time again for another La La Land Crafts Challenge.  

Today it is all about Something New! So whatever you've got new in your stash...use it and show us! That was actually pretty easy for me as I received my GDT package form Irina last week so I got lots of new stuff :-)
