Something New - La-La Land Crafts Challenge

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! It's time again for another La La Land Crafts Challenge.  

Today it is all about Something New! So whatever you've got new in your stash...use it and show us! That was actually pretty easy for me as I received my GDT package form Irina last week so I got lots of new stuff :-)

Here is what's new on my card: The cute Heart Cookie Luka  stamp including one of the sentiments that come with the stamp; Lattice Border Die, Cherry Blossom Branch Die and Stitched Sun and Clouds Die Set.

DP is from an older Echo Park set and all the embellies are from my stash.

March Rubber Stamp Release - Grand Blog Hop

March Rubber Stamp Release Blog Hop

The DT  have been sharing some amazing creations made with the new stamps over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP!The hop starts today (Wednesday March 11th at 12.00PM noon ET) and ends on Friday, March 13th at 12.00pm noon ET.

For my release card today I choose  'Free Hugs' by Krista Heij-Barber

This cutie is colored with alcohol markers and the shadow is water colored. The sentiment comes with the stamp and the speech bubble is die cut using one of the 'Say What' Speech Bubble Die Set dies. I also used the Stitched Circles Die Set.

To color the little bear I used Copics - E40's and cool greys as well as some reds

March 2015 Release - Sneak Peek Day 1

 

Welcome to Day 1 of our ...

March Rubber Stamp and Die Release

 

Over the next 3 days we will reveal 16 *BRAND NEW* red rubber stamps/stamp sets. They will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.

Today we are excited to show you the brand new Crissy Armstrong, Time for Tea Designs, Lizzy Love and Denise Lynn stamps being released this month:

For my sneak peek creation today I used one of Lizzy Love's new images called Patty's Party

I used Copics to color her and did the shadow with Sennelier watercolors. The sentiment is included with the stamp. I also used the Stitched Border Die Trio.

Hello Friends, today I'm here with a card I made for a magazine publication. It's been published in Craft Ideas Magazine Spring edition.  The image is from Whimsy's Art by Miran Collection called Sally Mae.

I made an easel card and she's been colored with Copics and the sentiment is also from Whimsy: Spring Letter Seals. The dies I've used are from the Shapeology collection: Butterfly Border Die, Bird Cage Die Set, Large Leafy Flourish Die

La La Land Crafts Challenge and GD

Hello everyone! Today I'm here with a GD card for the La La Land Crafts Challenge. I'm excited to say that Debbie from the La La Land Crafts DT has asked me if I wanted to join the DT as a GD. I was thrilled and of course I accepted! :) I'm so excited to work with these super cute images! Thanks so much for having me guys! So you will see my La La Land Crafts designs now for the next 3 month here. :-)

Todays challenge is about embellishments - use 3 different kinds of embellishments. For all the details about the challenge and how to particiapte please visit the La La Land Crafts blog. For my card I had a blast coloring Sailboat Lucka and also used one of the sentiments that comes with the stamp.

I colored this cutie with my Copics. I've listed all colors used with the next picture. The types of embellishments I've used are metal embellishments, ribbon/string burlap and button.

Butterfly Kisses

Hey all! Today I like to show you a card I made with one of the new Whimsy images from the Lizzy Love Collection.

This adorable image is called 'Theodora and the Butterflies' I colored her with Copics. The sentiment is included with the stamp. I also used the Butterfly border die and the largest tag from the Stitched tags dies as well as the Music Notes stamp. Paper is from the Basic Grey Whisteria collection.
