Hello Everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Today I like to share a  card I made using Whimsy's Feather and Flourish sentiment set by SC Design.

A clean and simple card but I like how it turned out. The card base is heavy weight watercolor paper. The color swooshes are made using Sennelier watercolors. Sentiment and feathers are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Only embellishments are a few pink rhinestones.

Whimsy Stamps - Art by Mi Ran Debut Release Day 3

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to the final day of our Art by Mi Ran Debut Release!

We are celebrating the debut release of our new Art by Mi Ran Collection! We have 7 new rubber stamps, illustrated by Mi Ran, exclusively for Whimsy Stamps. For today's hop I inked up Champagne Lucy:

She was colored using Copics and the DP I've used is from Maja Design. The sentiment is from Whimsy's 'Fairy Tale Dreams' set by . The Feather Die is from the July release and the Vines Die set is an older Shapeology die. Both are available at the store HERE.Flowers are from WOC and all pther embellishments are from my stash.

For my release project today I have chosen 'Little Jack 'n Bobbin Summer Watermelon' by Elisabeth Bell.

This cute little fellow got colored with Copics and because I wanted the image to really stand out I went for a CAS card. I only added a sentiment from the 'Girl Talk'  sentiment set by SC Design, some Stickles.

Over the next 3 days we will reveal the new July 2014 Whimsy Stamps products. Whimsy is releasing 14 new red rubber stamps/stamp sets and 4 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Wednesday.

We are thrilled to welcome Mary Johnson, Linda Levoir, Bridget Curnow and Sue Hughes as our Guest Designers for this release. Welcome ladies!

Today we are excited to show you the brand new Elisabeth Bell, Time for Tea Designs and Raindrop Echo Designs stamps and dies being released this month. For a full reveal of these stamps, check out the Whimsy blog!

For today's project, I have inked up "Bouquet" from Time For Tea Designs. I've colored her using Copics & Graph It markers and one of my favorite color combos - pink and green :-)

I also used the *New* Feather & Nib Die and  Large Leafy Flourish Die as well as a sentiment from the *New* Feather and Flourish sentiment set by SC Designs.

 

The light blue background around the image was done using Sennelier watercolors.

 Flowers are from WOC and designer papers are MME.

Always & Forever

Happy Saturday! Summer is in full force down here in Florida and we are enjoying a long weekend with the holiday yesterday and a day off on Monday *yay* That means lots of R&R = being crafty, sitting in my fav sun lounger by the pool with my kindle, sleeping in, watching favorite movies and "playing" in the kitchen ;-)

I also have some Whimsy News for you! Keep your eyes peeled, there's a new rubber release right around the corner (next week) which you definitely don't want to miss!!!

Meanwhile, until I can show you the new goodies,  I made a card using a sentiment set and die from the last rubber release:

The sentiment is from SC Designs 'Life's Moments' set and the delicate Butterfly Border is a Shapeology die also from SC Designs. The single butterfly is a cut out element from the border. The background was created using an alcohol marker (ShinHan in my case) and the Tim Holtz Spritzer Tool.

I embossed the butterfly border several times using UTEE for a porcelain like look.

The cut out butterfly was embossed with Frantage Shabby Pink embossing powder and decorated with a pearl brad.

Hello Everyone, wishing you all a wonderful Saturday! I have a little card to share with you today which I made using a sentiment set and die from Whimsy stamps.

I used the Pierced Stacking Star die from Whimsy by SC Design and the Boy Talk sentiment set also by SC Design. This is a pretty simple card but I think just perfect as a male card. I also did not used much embellies just 2 small star brads and a bakers twine. 

To make the sentiment stand out a little more on the kraft cardstock I actually stamped it with water mark ink and embossed it using black detail embossing powder.

Fluttering by...

Happy TGIF Everyone! Fluttering by to say Hi with a Whimsy Stamps creation from the Cathy Delanssay collection.

But first things first. Whimsy Stamps is looking for guest designers with great coloring abilities! If you are a talented colorist and coloring is your passion then come and join us as guest designer!




Onto my creation now...

This beauty is called 'The Little Princess' and I colored it using Twinkling H2O's on hot press watercolor paper. It has such a beautiful sparkle and shine to it, unfortunately it can't be seen on the photos. The sentiment is from SC Designs' 'Fluttering By' set.

The delicate Butterfly Border is a Shapeology die also from SC Designs. The single butterfly is a cut out element from the border. I spritzed it with glimmer mist and added Frantage shabby blue embossing powder. Papers are Whimsy Designer Papers from the Marshmellow Delight and  In The Garden sets. Other embellishments are from my stash.
