Hello Everyone and Happy Humpday! Just a quick post from me today to show you a card I made using Whimsy's Tiny Tag Die Set from the May release.

I also used the beautiful white Lace Tape from the embellishment section in the Whimsy store and the Shapeology Lace Doily Border die. DP I've used were some left over scraps from another project.

Whimsy Stamps May Rubber Stamps and Die Release - Day 5

Hello All! Today is the last day of the Whimsy Stamps May release!

Today the spotlight is on the new Elisabeth Bell and Time for tea Designs images. For a full hop list please scroll down.

For my release creation today I choose 'Zoe Butterfly' from Elisabeth Bell.

The sentiment is by SC Designs from the new 'Life's Moments' set. I also used the Whimsy Picket Fence Die. I added Frantage Shabby White embossing powder to the picked fence die and also to the wooden butterfly embellie. The papers are Whimsy Designer Papers from the Vintage Basic and In the Garden sets. 

She was colored using Distress Ink refillers. I stamped her onto Langton 140lbs hot pressed 'grain satine' watercolor paper. This has turned out to be my favorite hot pressed watercolor paper.

For my release creation today I choose 'Happy Birthday to Ewe' from Crissy Armstrong.

This time I colored using Distress Inks (refillers and pads) and around the image I use Frantage Shabby White Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from the  'Life's Moments' set by SC Design and cut out with the matching 'Fancy Label' die. Papers are from Pion Design, lace is from Live and Love Crafts. Birdcage is a Whimsy Shapeology die availabe HERE and I also used a Tim Holtz edge die. Flowers are from WOC and pearl swirls are from Want 2 Scrap.

I colored the image using Copics. The sentiment comes with the stamp. DP is from Kaiserkraft (Tigerlily), Flowers from WOC, ribbon, lace and paper doily from my stash. The leafy swirls are Whimsy Shapeology dies called 'Vines Die Set'. The branch die is from Memorybox. I've also added Stardust and Fruit Punch Stickles for some glitz.

Whimsy Stamps May Rubber Stamps & Die Release - Day 2

Hi Everyone and Welcome to Day 2 of our ... May rubber stamp and die release!

Whimsy is releasing a fabulous selection of new goodies this week, and the entire release will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store and from all good Whimsy Stamps retailers from tomorrow (21st May).


Today we are excited to show you the brand new SC Design and Raindrop Echo Designs sentiment stamps and dies released this month.  

I used 'Notables 7 Silhouettes' sentiments from Raindrop Echo Designs to design this CAS card:

I stamped the sentiment with Memento Lady Bug ink and cut it out using the matching Notables 7 die. To do the honeycomb background I used a stencil, Distress Ink marker and the Tim Holtz Distress Marker spritzer tool.

Today we are excited to show you the brand new Sylvia Zet and Cathy Delanssay stamps released this month. Visit the Whimsy Inspirations Blog to have a glance at all the newly released stamps from Sylvia and Cathy. 

I have the honor to show you one of Cahty's new images today. I made a card using 'Alice' and colored her with alcohol markers. Mostly Graph It this time but I also used some Copics (for the hair). 

The sentiment is by SC Designs from the *New* 'Life's Moments' set. And the cute die cut stars are made with the *New* Pierced Stacking Star Die.
Other dies used are from Tim Holtz and I also used cardboard and paper art from Dutch Doobadoo to embellish. DP is from Maja Design and the flowers are from WOC and my stash.

I used Fran-Tage shabby white embossing powder around the image and also on the cardboard heart.

  The paper was distressed using my Distress-It tool and Distress Ink.

Hey Girlfriend!

Hello Stamping Friends! The card I want to share with you today is more on the simpler side, well, let's say it's clearly CAS. :-D

I colored this sweet Whimsy - Time for Tea Designs image, called 'Short Stroll', in the 'no-lines' technique using my Copics. This is a first for me with 'no-lines' so please bear with me on the coloring...I still need lots of practice with this technique!

To decorate the card I only added some ribbon and buttons. The DP is from Fancy Pants's 'The Good Life' collection.

 

I've added the sentiment right next to the image. It's from Whimsy's SC Designs collection 'Girl Talk'.

Be Like A Flower....

Hi Everyone! Today I want to share a Criss-Cross card with you I made using 'Miss Apple Blossom Vignette' from Whimsy's Little Cottage Cuties Collection by Elisabeth Bell.

I colored using Copics and the Background is done using Sennelier L'Aquarelle water colors. Papers are from Bo Bunny and Flowers are from my stash (most of them are from WOC) The large flower die is from Memory Box.

On the inside is a sentiment from the Spring Notables 8 set cut out with the matching Notables 8 die.

Time to Sparkle!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for being MIA for the last few weeks but there was a lot going on in my life which needed 100% of my attention. Also my creative mojo and my batteries enjoyed the break and a chance to recharge ;-)

I'm back today with a creation with one of Whimsy's Crissy Armstrongs images from the March release called 'Playful Tiger'.

I colored the image using my Copic's and for the background I used Caran'd Ache Gouache colors. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps 'Girl Talk' set by SC Designs. The cute banner is made with the 'Built a Banner Die Set'  also designed by SC Designs. Flowers are from WOC and the butterfly and honeycomb deco art are from Dutch Doobadoo.Filmstrip is from Tim Holtz. All other embelleis are from my stash.
