Belles 'n Whistles Christmas Release II - Blog Hop

Welcome to our Belles 'n Whistles Blog Hop and 2. Christmas Release! Can you believe how times is flying? We are here for our 2nd Christmas release already and Christmas is just around the corner! And Summer did it again! Another 6 super adorable Christmas stamps are released today. Designed by the amazingly talented Elisabeth Bell. They are available in the Belles 'n Whistles store later this morning. So make sure you stop by there later today to reserve your stamps. Pre-selling starts in the store later today and they will begin shipping out December first.

So and now are you ready? Ready to continue in our blog hop and having a chance on winning a full set of these newly released cuties? Ok so if you arrived here on my blog from sweet Anki than you are on the right track! But if you did not than hop over to our Belles 'n Whistles Blog and start at the beginning. In order to have a chance on winning the prize you must leave a comment on each DT members blog including the Belles 'n Whistles blog. The winner will be announced by Summer on Thanksgiving Day at the Belles 'n Whistles Blog.

Now I am proud to present to you: "The Christmas Door" . Oooooh how cute this one is!!!!!! This time our hop has the theme Christmas Gift Wraps/Boxes & Christmas Gifts. So I decided to use this absolutely cute stamp to create a Christmas Gift Wrap around a bottle. I found this bottle last week at Ikea and just had to have it. I like the bottle cap and how it closes. Reminded me of the old bottles used when I was a child. This is not just a decorated bottle it is also considered a gift from my kitchen ;-) Because I filled it with homemade Coffee Liqueur (interested in the recipe? scroll all the way down to the end of the post). I like to bring small gifts like that when I'm invited for a Christmas party or dinner as a little something especially for the host or to accompany other gifts.

I colored the image using my Copics. DP is from My Minds Eye and all decoratiosn are from my stash. Border punch used is a Martha Stewart punch. Sentiment stamp is from the Magnolia So Jolly/So Snowy Collection.

I hope you like my Christmassy liquer bottle and I could inspire you a little. After leaving a comment it is now time for you to go on to the the next stop in our hop. The next click will bring you to Hawai'i :-) The amazingly talented Jodi will show you what she's created with another adorable newly released stamp!

And if you are still following and interested in the liqueurs recipe here it is ,the recipe for my homemade coffee liqueur :

Coffee Liqueur

Ingredients:

1 cup heavy cream
1 cup brandy or whisky
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tsp instant espresso or instant coffee
(2 tsp instant vanilla pudding - if you like the liqueur to be a little thicker)

Combine the liquid ingredients in a shaker. Add the dry ingredients and shake very well until sugar and coffe powder is completely dissolved. Fill in bottle and keep refrigerated.

Thanks for stopping by today and participating in our blog hop. The comments you may leave are all highly appreciated!

Hugs,
